GA and VIP all SOLD OUT!

So I'm an idiot for thinking these passes would still be available by this weekend. For those who do not know... they're all sold out!!!
I'm really starting to have this love/hate relationship with Coachella.

ANYWAY, I digress, I heard in the news this morning that more passes will be on sale the beginning of next year.
Can someone please verify if that's true or not?! I just couldn't cough up enough cash and time to purchase a pass.

Relax guys. I have a good feeling there will be another sale when the lineup comes out. I also have a feeling that they might expand the grounds and thus expand capacity.

Just trying to impart some info. Guess I got a little too cute.

The problem is that the info you are trying to 'impart' is already commonly known. This was just the pre-sale; the rest of the tickets will go on sale after the lineup is announced in January. This is how they've done it the past few years so it's not news to anyone who's been before.

Understood. People seemed to be panicking that the whole event was sold out. The guy I talked to (someone high up in the food chain) said that there would be a substantial second sale.

The guy I talked to also said that they may move the Outdoor further east, toward Monroe, allowing for more capacity.

Could they move the do lab further east? Florida would work for me.

For some reason there hasn't been a single indication regarding number of passes sold in the pre sale.

Just Hearsy evidence and PFs posting a vague non-committal statement on this forum.

I find it odd that they'd sell 68,000 W1 during the 2011 pre sale but that would drop that number for the upcoming sale in January.
