Is there a chance that GV will add a last minute Coachella week 3 and 4 for next year? They might as well, even if weeks 3 and 4 are different bands than 1 and 2.

Doubt it, but wouldn't be surprised if it happened next year.
"Coachella 1 Weekend 1
Coachella 1 Weekend 2
Coachella 2 Weekend 1
Coachella 2 Weekend 2"
lol
I'll take an extra week of June and an extra week of October, please. I'm willing to give up a week of February. In fact, let's just make February a weekend.
You must live somewhere really shitty in CA if the summer is your least favorite season.
I really think Americans could handle a solid, jam packed weekend of black history related festivites a lot better than trying to sustain interest over a full 28 days. You know no one keeps their Black History Month resolutions past Valentine's Day anyway.
How can you hate California summers... can you not swim?
If you live near the beach, summers can definitely be extremely annoying especially with all the 909ers driving in every weekend.
What about the people of indio? I think they would put up a huge hissy fit if coachella was 3-4 weekends and having stagecoach. I dont see it ever happening for that reason alone.
Lets make coachella once a month plz
I think it would be too much if they added a third or a fourth weekend and i dont think artists would want to play 3 wknds in a row at the same venue whether its coachella or not.
My mom lives the street over from the polo grounds and I lived there from 12-18....people would NOT be happy with a 3rd weekend. They are already having fits over 2 weekends. Admittedly, if you aren't going or are old and boring, Coachella weekend is a huge pain with traffic and out of towners and blocked roads. 2 weekends of coachella + stagecoach is more than enough. Plus, all the polo people are pissed already that the ground were sold and my horse's vet (who lives on the grounds) is considering moving after being there for 25+ years because it's becoming an events ground rather than a polo field/equestrian center. The homes across the street (the polo estates) have lost value and someone I know in there is selling because GV bought the grounds. Basically-it's not going to happen
