What's up with the horrible data connections. ATT, Verizon, Sprint...all seemed to have problems.
Txt messages never arrived, were hard to send. Phone app connections were slow or non-existant.
iPhones, LG's, Samsungs, Droids...everyone I talked to had the same problems.
Mine worked fine. 4G even...

Unless you are a scientist or doctor with some life saving data to send it wasn't really a problem.

worked fine for me. i was streaming bloodsport on my phone all weekend long.
That's so strange, everyone I talked to said they could stream the sets they werent at while watching that sets that werent on stream at the same time on their ipads and iphones.
It was amazing streaming radiohead while dancing to kaskade.
Sprint gave me no problems at all.
Same here with Verizon, but I heard ATT sucked.
This year was much better than years past. I was actually able to call friends on the field and I received texts rather quickly. Others years it was a futile attempt, I received most texts after leaving the polo grounds and there was no way a call was going through. And I have AT&T

I use At&t, basically my data connection would intermittently go from 3G to gone.. There was also a few times where the phone actually went to "No Service", big deal, i expected it after 2010's clusterfuck.
I had no problems with texts all weekend (Sprint).

I was talking to this girl before Miike Snow. Said 70% of the reason she bought her ticket was for Miike Snow. For some reason she couldn't stay off her phone the entire set. To that I say, GTFO and let some one who will enjoy the festival buy a ticket.
