I mean I didn't know they broke up
Mephaskapheles please,,
Deepsky
Tears for Fears- are they still technically together?
Tribe-yes I know they are 'together'
I'm hoping for Pink Floyd and The Postal Service.
Pink Floyd won't happen, but I think The Postal Service reuniting could for sure happen.
The Stone Roses
Roxy Music
King Crimson
In Living Color
The Velvet Underground (though wouldn't be expecting much from anyone but Cale)
Faces (A much more palatable way to give Rod Stewart a chance at the Coachella stages - ? Is Ronnie Lane still alive, if so doesn't he suffer from advanced MD - would be great to hear that Carnival Barker voice of his)
The Replacements
The Talking Heads
Midnight Oil (surprised not mentioned more in these forums..seems a very Coachella oriented band)
Charlatans UK
The Housemartins
REM with Bill Berry (too soon after breakup, I know, but God I hope they Headline Coachella in next 5 years...one of the three or four acts I most want to see that haven't played Coachella before)
Mott The Hoople (don't know if even viable, how many members are still alive...Ian Hunter has performed recently but is really getting up there, 72 I think).
Procol Harum (again, don't even know how many band members still alive...but it's a wish list)
Smashing Pumpkins (though not an end all be all for me, saw them multiple times in their prime)
Blake Babies.
Had the opportunity to see the reunion tour at the Knitting Factory but missed it. Taught me one important lesson...never miss an opportunity to see a band you like, if you miss it, you may never see it again. Should have learned this lesson with the Ramones.
spice girls closing the sahara would be a blast. don't act like it wouldn't be.
Hell, why don't you just request the Beatles with Pete Best while you're at it.
Sorry, I thought the title of the thread said "wish list" in it. Carry on.
Definitely not higher. Pulp are way more popular, I know it's not necessarily about the 'hits', but it is somewhat and, much as I like the Roses, they have had very few. In either the UK or the US. Their popularity definitely seems to have gained since they broke up
I will not be ignored!!!!!!!!!!!!!
