The two weekend format would be tailor made for them
(been a while since I've seen them and this would be a great place to rectify that)
Felt like this thread should be bumped after the South America 2013 announcement and going to the show in Missoula on Sunday. Setlist for those curious and some pictures I took.

Last Kiss, Off He Goes, Low Light, Man Of The Hour, Nothingman, Better Man/Save It For Later
Wasted Reprise, Life Wasted, Fortunate Son, Alive, Kick Out The Jams (with Mark Arm and Steve Turner of Mudhoney), Rockin' In The Free World, Indifference
Nice, Missoula is my hometown. First concert I ever went to was Pearl Jam at the Adam's Center in '94. Great memories. Hope you enjoyed the show.
It was a fantastic experience. It was my eighth PJ show and easily the best crowd and venue (in terms of organization/staffing--Santa Barbara Bowl and MSG will probably always be tied). Everyone in the GA line was extremely friendly and made the day breeze by very quickly. A list was organized and the venue used security and officers to enforce it when people who didn't have numbers tried to get in line after the 10C will call opened. The venue sent out security with barricades to the outside merchandise booth after people were trying to sneak in line. The security on the rail gave us cups of water throughout the show. Just a top-notch venue all around. The setlist probably ranks somewhere between third and fifth favorite for me, but the location, crowd and venue made it an incredible night.
Was Vedder jumping around as usual? Curious after he cancelled some solo shows last year.
He definitely was and he was even battling a cold. Probably due to all the smoke in the air from the wildfires.
wow i coulda swore they played atleast once before on the polo fields....damn, this is long overdue, bring it on Pearl Jam 2013!!!
That setlist looks amazing. It's your 3rd to 5th favorite? I'm not a huge PJ fan and wasn't very excited about all the buzz they're getting for 2013, but that show sounds like an absolute blast. I would love it if they showed up and played a set like that. Thanks for sharing.
Yeah, my favorite set was the last show they played at the Gibson in 2009:
Long Road, Animal, Hail Hail, Gonna See My Friend, Got Some, Alone, Nothingman, Amongst The Waves, Even Flow, Untitled, Unthought Known, All Those Yesterdays, Why Go, Wishlist, Present Tense, Force Of Nature, The Fixer, Spin The Black Circle, Porch
Just Breathe, The End, Lukin, Red Mosquito, Jazz Odyssey, Love, Reign O’er Me, Blood/(Atomic Dog)
State Of Love And Trust, Crown Of Thorns, Kick Out The Jams, Alive, Indifference
My second favorite was MSG Night 1 in 2008. After that I seem to always change my mind about rankings.
Hard to Imagine, Save You, Why Go, All Night, Corduroy, Faithful, Elderly Woman…, Down, Unemployable, Given to Fly, Who You Are, Whipping, 1/2 Full, Even Flow, Present Tense, Daughter, Do The Evolution
Love Reign O’er Me, W.M.A., Leash, Spin The Black Circle, Wasted Reprise, Porch
No More, Crazy Mary, Comatose, I Believe in Miracles, Alive
All Along the Watchtower, Indifference
if this PJ/SG one of happens at coachella i'd be pretty fucking happy.
Especially the anniversary of having shoes thrown at you.
Bush 43 gets one of these every December 14th.
N4 at Gibson was absolutely magical. Almost cried when Stone started playing Nothingman...song means A TON to me because of my father and to finally see it, with him next to me was an incredible moment and made me realize why I love Pearl Jam so much and music in general.
I saw pearl jam the other week in Atlanta. They were good
