Omnibus 2013 Headliner Speculation and Argument Thread

YYYs can headline because of the following reasons:

1. They're awesome.
2. People like them and listen to them and buy their music.
3. New album.
4. Cozy with Goldenvoice.
5. Though they may have lost their "steam", as many people have recently stated, I can see Goldenvoice giving them that spot to build them up back to what they were before they took the time off.

none of those reasons are cause to Headline.


they are cause to play Coachella, that's about it. unless u think Sleigh Bells can headline.

have YYYs ever headlined anything?

There was a only a small chance that they would headline and I think it's gone now since they are playing The Glass House. I still think they will the top sub on their day.

I don't think YYYs are a headliner, but I think Phoenix/YYYs as co-headliners would be fantastic.

I could see Goldenvoice getting away with giving the YeahYeahYeahs the nod for headliner if they fucked around and got some shit like Rolling Stones/Led Zeppelin and/or Daft Punk/NIN.
