I'm curious as to why St. Vincent isn't popping up on more people's lists. Was everybody watching The Shins?
-

I was watching The Shins.

Re: Your top 5 performances from 2012 (weekend one edition)
I guess most people were. St. Vincent's performance was pretty mind blowing. I would say it was the best performance of the weekend by a single artist. It's too bad so many people missed it.

I was hoping you had posted your top 5 performances. This is the thread for that...

Re: Your top 5 performances from 2012 (weekend one edition)
It's funny how people give such crap to DJs for "cheese" (and deservingly so) but nobody seems to mind how cheesy Dre and Snoop's performance was.
Parading out guest after guest, the hologram, that dumb skit "Yo Em, you can't go back to Detroit already, do one more song with me dawg", Snoop's bling, songs about "smoke every day" and "let's get fucked up"...cheesy. I didn't hate their performance but the cheese factor keeps it from being in my top 5 for sure.

5.) Fitz and the Tantrums
Honorable mention to the first half of Araabmuzik before he started doing dubstep and Skrillex remixes. I also really enjoyed Head and the Heart.

The difference is that Dre and Snoop's performance actually contained good music.
