Late add ?

They played last year, and while I'd love to see them with proper bass that their set requires (the sound was royally fucked last year), I doubt they'll return.

I missed cut copy to see them last year and they were TERRIBLE and they played so late i could have gone to cut copy. biggest upset of the weekend.

biggest upset indeed. They are playing Beyond Wonderland march 17th. Go to that if you want to see them. They will not be a late add.

So disappointing last year. They were awful.

I liked it.

Yeah the bass was sooooo loud for them... :/ they were terrrrible. Id rather just have Benga.

The bass was...loud? There was no bass at all, that was the problem. The bass kicked in for a few seconds right at the end with Perfect Stranger and it was insane, but other than that, the bass was lacking the entire set.

And it was their own fault too... not the sound people.

I caught the tail end of thier performance and it was right when the bass kicked on. I was watching The Black Keys and missed most of their set, but I ran over to catch Sasha and saw the final few minutes.

How do you know it was their fault? Just curious, that seems like something that's extremely noticeable if it was on their end that they would have fixed early on in the set.

they were screaming over their whole set. I felt like i was watching Destructo.

They made us sit down, glad i got to see all of cut copy and went late to magnetic man.

Someone on here talked to the sound guys and that person was told it was on Magnetic Man's end. Not sure of the specifics though.

I was there, regardless of the sound and Sgt. Pokes' annoying MC'ing, I still had a blast. Saw them again at Creamfields in August and their show was fucking incredible, I highly recommend seeing them at least once.

Hm interesting, you'd think that in a bass-driven live set, that'd be the first thing they try to fix rather than let it go unfixed the entire set, who knows, maybe it just wasn't fixable at the time? I talked to Benga on a plane ride over to Manchester over the summer and we talked about Coachella for a bit, I didn't want to push for any answers or annoy him but he never mentioned anything about shitty sound...

They blew it.

They were lame the whole time, sound or not. Worst part was when the MC had everyone get down to the ground for awhile, leading you to expect some legendary drop. Ended up being one of the most underwhelming part of any set that weekend. Thank god the Sahara was in good hands afterwards.

caught the tail end of their set last year. terrible decision. anemic sound and a super annoying MC who just would not shutup. don't know why anyone would want the back at Coachella anytime soon
