Such killer scores, both. That Augustus Pablo record is definitely the reggae record I play the most.

I picked up The Talking Heads - Stop Making Sense at Rhino the other day. I love it.
They had, like, four copies of the King Tubby/Augustus Pablo album (Canadian reissue on Clockwork Records), so I grabbed the one which had the least amount of ringwear on the sleeve. As for the Shocking... comp, all of these Now-Again psych/funk compilations are phenomenal (I have three others I believe) and this one is no exception; got it new for $20 too!
I have a few of the picture discs that come packaged in tight, thick, clear plastic sleeves. I'm worried about the plastic breaking down. Is this a problem? What is a good alternative?

I had forgotten all about the Pumpkins flexi. They sent it to compensate people who preordered the Gish/Siamese Dream reissues that were delayed. I just found my copy recently. Neat.

:/ well I learned a couple important lessons about Discogs .
1) Do not go on when your drunk.
2) When buying always check out the sellers profile.

Revelator is the somber vision of musician Ben Chisholm, who is also a full time member of Chelsea Wolfe. Recording under the name "White Horse" since 2010, he has released a number of highly praised experimental solo recordings including "Final Coordinates" and "The Revenant Gospels I, II, and III". Sighting other artists working under that same moniker, the name was eventually put out to pasture in 2012. With this fresh start, Revelator offers "Net of Gems", a melancholic and haunting song driven by a wash of electronics, throbbing percussion, spiraling piano and subtle guitar work. He effortlessly constructs a sonic world which conjures up delicate hallucinogenic visions akin to a spry Pink Floyd, but darker and more ethereal.
Wear Your Wounds is the product of years of solo experimentation by founding Converge member Jacob Bannon. Picking up where his avante-garde projects Irons and Supermachiner left off, "Adrift In You" quickly builds into a hook laden storm of sound. Subtle electronics, massive guitars, and huge percussion swirl as poignant vocals call from the eye of it all. Bringing to mind the stark sounds of Swans, Killing Joke, My Bloody Valentine, and other like minded artists.
Low Level Owl by The Appleseed Cast has been reissued and is available now. So excited to finally get this on vinyl and as an added bonus it's one of the best looking pressings I have seen.
