Yeah, so stoked! Ebay had 'em for $4 each with free shipping. Guessing the one I'm missing is Red Medicine? My next purchase haha. I've been on a huge In On The Kill Taker binge lately.

Not purchases but today my Godmother was getting rid of all of her vinyl and CD's and she had some AMAZING items in her collection. I came across an old longbox promo copy of Dr. Dre's The Chronic (my favorite rap record of all-time) with the original sealed CD as well as special Dr. Dre rolling papers that came with it. She also had an original sealed vinyl of Straight Outta Compton(with a sticker price of $6.79) and the original sealed 12-inch single for N.W.A.'s "Appetite For Destruction". She also had a ton of original vinyl pressings of old Jamaican reggae records and other neat stuff. Had multiple rap-nerdgasms today. Haven't even gone through the whole collection yet, gonna finish this weekend. Needless to say, I'm beyond stoked.

I just listened to The Wipers for the first time and I fucking need to get one of their albums.
Jason, you checked out Youth of America, yeah? Zack, I saw you were listening to that compilation on Spotify. Both of you should definitely give Is This Real? a spin. It's their first album and it's fuckin' fantastic. Although, to be fair, the first three are absolutely flawless. Even the later ones (what you were listening to, Zack) have a real fantastic sound to them, but the first three are just brilliant.
All of the Wipers albums have been repressed and Jackpot records did an impeccable job with the pressings. HIGHLY recommend tracking them down.
I stumbled across the Wipers after listening to The Gun Club and looking at the recommended artists on allmusic; downloaded Youth of America and was thoroughly impressed. I'll have to download the other two you've mentioned soon, as well as those represses. Thanks for the heads-up Bryan!
Magnolia Electric Co. - Songs: Ohia
I've been trying to get a copy of this for days and days, so I figured I'd treat myself to a record to somewhat ease the anxiety of waiting for bar results.

Repress. I think it's the bootleg one you have. Regardless, I now own all of the important/great Talk Talk records, so I'm stoked.

Bonobo - Black Sands
also placed an order at DFA. Will post when they arrive.
So what is everyone shooting for this friday?
Personally I want The White Stripes, Captain Beefheart, Atom for Peace, and Tomahawk singles.
my disintegration loops boxset arrived today... so far it sounds incredible. it is a pretty astonishing artifact. too many incredible boxsets this year. i hate storing these things.
Timing. Believe me, I want nothing more than to make every Record Club. I'm unfortunately always super busy.
I think I'm going to ask for that for Christmas.
Went to Amoeba in SF today. God their new used arrivals section was bad.
LP:
Bob Mould - Silver Age
Pernice Brothers - The World Won't End
Titus Andronicus - Local Business
CD:
VA - Grooverider presents: the Prototype Years
Is there a RSD list that someone can point me to that doesn't require i download a file from the RSD website? my work computer must hate that site.
The Captain Beefheart discs look pretty solid. My budget is tiny and I can't afford much but I still have my eye on Christmas blues comp, the live Grateful Dead set, Merle Haggard 10", Love Forever Changes, the My Morning Jacket 10", Reservoir Dogs Soundtrack, and Joe Strummer Live at Action Town Hall.
Well, stop being so busy.
I was in Amoeba last week and the used section was so bad. Awful really. Because of that, though, I took a chance on a collection of James Brown covers and it fucking rules:

I cannot recommend it highly enough. What's not awesome about a convincingly tight version of "Say It Loud" sung in Portugese?
