Do you remember if the first round in summer cost the same? I'm planning on trying to get a ticket on the 28th. If I remember right the November sale sold out really quick last year.
no, i don't. i had no $$ at the time, so i didn't even look to see how much they were.
I am going to take a year or two break from there to try other fests out. I'll be back when I can afford an RV
I haven't been there since 2006. The line-up would have to be pretty awesome in order for me to change my mind....
bet they'll book artist like Drake as a headliner/sub......isn't that guy huge these days? Can't keep up with what's popular these days without paying attention to the radio/tv the past few years!
or maybe they'll book Neil Young, Daft Punk, and Tom Waits;)
I really enjoyed roo this year, but i don't think that i can do it next year.
It would take a top 5 act or two top 10 acts to get me to consider a return to the farm.
I've never been, but I think I might greatly consider it next year.
I love it but it's a pain in the ass at the same time. Take advantage of the golf carts if you're anywhere near the back. If I end up going this year, I will only do VIP
golf cart cabs were a life saver. we were talking about vip next year, but i doubt it will happen.
We would have all died if we didn't have 4 10X10 canopies with sheets as walls.

Same here. Do not go to Roo without a canopy. It will really mess up your experience, as the weekend is already an endurance test. This year we were lucky enough to be near a forest so would get up in the morning to shower, then go lay in the shade under the trees until it was time to head out for shows. I had such a blast in 2009, but it will def be lineup dependent for me in 2012. I will be putting most of my energy to make it to Download Festival that same weekend in England.
I am slowly losing any desire I have to go to Bonnaroo. Lineup would have to be amazing and I would probably have to skip Coachella. Fat chance.
they'll definitely have Drake there. he'll probably be like 7th name though, nothing big...especially considering where Wayne was on the lineup last year.
i don't have high expectations for next years lineup. i feel like they sort of went all out with last years for their 10th anniversary.

I mean the lineup was decent. but it wasn't nearly as good as 07-09
Roo is in decline, lets face it.
I'm going again. Though, two of my best friends who I hardly see are going again with me, so it makes sense. This year's lineup was okay, but nowhere near the 10th Anniversary it should have been.
Yes, they should have had 13 headliners!!!!
They had a couple "classic" roo acts in prime spots, and had the Dr. John perform the album the fest was named after in its entirety. That's already more than most fests do for an "anniversary".
