Aurgasm - yes, this weekend. Move D is doing an extended set on Thursday, then a Reagenz set on Friday, and Rrose is on Saturday.
Ooh, hope you make it down for RRose, Nathan!
tickets for the liebing show on the 16th are fucking flying. i've never seen anything like it in denver. anyway, i'll have guest and 5 dollar spots for anyone in here who makes it out. woopwoop
and yes, we are having Pan-Pot play two sets on January 19, 2013. So, ya know... come out. I'm booking some crazy shit for that friday too. gonna go snowboarding with the guys then come back to the dancefloor. xo
edit: its their only saturday showing on this tour. 8^)
Are you going to RRose, Cara? I'm planning to but I'm a little hesitant because what I remember of the venue is that it's terrible. But I haven't been there since the mid-00's.
I am definitely coming out for Pan-Pot in January (plane tickets already purchased) and I hear a couple of other bay area people are considering coming... :-) I can't make it out on Friday of that weekend, but will be sticking around until Monday.
I'm on the fence....it's been a while since I've heard some proper techno.
Why the fuck are all of Move D's American dates being billed as an "extended set," he almost always plays 3-4 hours, get him to play six and then i'll give you the "extended set" moniker. Fuck American promoters.
Rødhåd and Dino Sabatini are on Ustream right now
Extended set in comparison to normal US shows, perhaps. Most of these guys get like 90 minutes when they play here... :/
You guys need to make it out to Rrose on Saturday with or without me. His set at Interface in August was one of the best I have ever witnessed. The dude is a techno magician.
Ride share is a great idea - I'm going to check that out now. Damnit I should have thought of this sooner.. I didn't see his (Move D's) SF date until after Decibel otherwise I would have planned better. Still going to keep looking. You never know.
where is rrose on saturday?
Well, we saw RRose this summer, but I'd like to see him again. I just have reservations regarding the venue, and kind of need to not go out all weekend as all I've done for the last month is party :P
I'll be at the Thursday Move D show though. (Wasn't sure if you were looking at Thursday's or Friday's).
I don't think it's even possible to drive/ride to SF from Seattle on Thursday, then, it's a 12+ hour ride, isn't it?
Don't know if this has been posted but it is an excellent mix. Some srsly deep techno from Mr. Rashim.
I dont know if it would be mnml but the song jiao on the daphni album is my new jam.
In general the parties here in the states are on the short side compared to a lot of other places so of course there are going to be shorter sets with less overall running time for an event, but I still find it obnoxious when promoters have the gall to advertise a 3 hour set as some sort of special and rare event when these artists regularly play slots of 3-4 hours at least.
Also, early-bird tickets for CTM in Berlin have been extended till Oct. 22, can't wait to see what names get announced with the first part of line-up release
AYLI parties in SF often say "late" and sometimes really do end at 5 or 6. But it does tend to be because there's a double bill and each artist gets a 3 hour set.
Daniel Bell on Halloween will be a 4 hour set at least though...
^ I am going to that even if it means I will have to get sick the next day.
Me too :D
We could be sick together on Thursday. :D
My tivo could hold a LOT of Maury.
DBX! Gonna be funnnn
It's free, too! :D San Francisco is lovely. Also, hi Dave!
The fact that those guys feature the talent they do while offering free entry before 11 is nuts.
