Lykke Li (who'm I believe is unofficially confirmed to be on the Coachella roster this year) performed a thoroughly surprising and enjoyable cover of The Knife at her recent SF show. Just saying, in case the real deal don't make it this year, and although I am well aware there is no substitute, whatever stage or tent she is playing will go off when she performs this with her band!
the knife for any year of coachella IMO, even passed years, in order to play them they would time travel, and it would be added to our collective memories.

News of a new album in 2012 was posted on the official site back in April. Not a word about it since, though.
I'm holding out for that album; I think they both put out their creative efforts on their own. Now they should be charged and ready to play together.
It DOES say "Open To Ideas" on the Windish avails sheet. Only artist updated for 2012, in fact... Isn't Windish exclusive to the US, as well?
