Before I even opened the thread I knew it was gonna be that. Greatest montage ever.
How does this show top itself every single week?

soooo....
i tried watching season 1 of this show several times, but i just couldn't get into it. A few days ago i skipped ahead and started watching season 2. Holy Shit! it is soo damn funny! is it general knowledge that season 1 is garbage? i can't get over how much funnier season 2 is.
I wasn't that impressed with Season 1 either. It's fairly obvious that there was a ton of retooling done before Season 2 and it has paid off well. Getting rid of Mark Brandanowitz was one of the best decisions made.
Season 1 is what hooked me, but the show has become progressively better each week it seems.
Even Jean Ralphio is starting to grow on me as a character. He's a big enough douche to the point where it's really funny to me now.

Ron with his facial hair burned off was so bizzarre to see!

and Unf x100 @ Adam Scott.
Nah, I don't think anymore than any other show. Most good comedy shows are awkward right out the gate. I mean, look at the first half of the first season of the Office, Arrested Development, etc.

I didn't have a problem with Mark Brandanowitz, but I felt they didn't need his character. He was kind of boring. A bit too normal, compared to everyone else.
(Very) nice to look at, but not much going on, storywise.
He's very handsome...
To each their own, I suppose.
Well they had Mark Brandanowitz there to establish a love interest with Leslie that was just unbelievable. He fell really flat as a character. Then they tried to work in a potential love triangle with Anne/Mark/Leslie that also didn't seem to have any momentum in terms of plot development. In season 2 you see the show start to become more of an ensemble cast, and the little quirks of everyone start to come out (like making fun of Jerry, etc). It's also obvious that they don't really know what to do with Anne Perkins, but they need her to play as Leslie's double (the Ethel to Leslie's Lucy, I guess)....so they've conveniently set her up with a part time job at the government? Silly.
I think Ann Perkins is being set up (again) as Rob Lowe's love interest. I also see that being used as a way to give Leslie and Ben an excuse to date without getting fired.
Did you bring a change of clothes? Because you are about to piss tears.
There needs to be a Donna episode.
Donna is underrated.
I am honestly trying to think of a character I don't like. I can't think of one.
I hope the dude always getting his shoes shined by Andy gets more play next season.
maybe it was just me, but i loved Andy's song for lil sebastian
Watched all the episodes on SideReel during most of my lunch / dinner / whatever breaks over the past three weeks and I really do like this show quite a bit.
quality of the show is directly proportional to the depth of April's character.
Aubrey Plaza fucking rules.
The turkey burger challenge episode where Chris and Ron took Andy and April shopping was fucking priceless. Chris limiting the number of toys Andy could buy while Ron let April buy as many crow figures as she wanted. Awesome.
I feel like April and Andy should have a kid in a few seasons. In the sense that I don't want either of them ever to "grow up" and seeing April eat like bucketloads of pretzels or somethings and nothing else while she is pregnant while Leslie freaks the fuck out and throws her a baby shower and tries to hover-mother their child and shit would just be comedic gold.
