Saw a Television Commericial about 3 elderly men who have attended all 45 Superbowls.
I'm making the trip from Austin Texas to Coachella for the 12th time!. Flying in this year, no more 1400 mile road trips, too much hassel. Who'd of thought it would be like this back in 99'. I've attended other fest but Coachella reigns supreme.
ANY OTHER 12 COACHELLA VETS OUT THERE???

12?! Wow, that's pretty cool. I do enjoy the festival, but I will be honest and say that because I don't enjoy the heat (and some occasional years where I just didn't have th funds), I have only driven out to the desert for bands I really, really dig.
Wow, all 12! That's pretty cool. This year will be #7 for me, so I've officially been to more than half of them. I started going when I was still in high school, so my excuse for missing the first few is that I was too young.

Missed only the first 2. Been since 2002.
I've been going since 2004 so this will be my 8th time going!
I started going in 2002 and only missed 2003. This year will be my 9th time in Coachella and I plan to go next year!

I would have been to all of them, but I had planned a trip to Amsterdam for what I thought would be the week after the normal Coachella. I bought my ticket 2 weeks before the final dates came out and I was so bummed. My ticket was non-refundable, so I was on a plane as my friends went to Coachella.
This is one of the few things in my life I regret! Never again will I miss Coachella! I may have more gray hair in ten years and be in poor shape, but I'll be in the Sahara tent on a pogo stick if that's what it takes to be jumping up and down to the beat!
