As Gallup notes, the poll findings apply to people who identify as l, g, b or t. The points almost double for 18-29 year olds:

Most Latinos now support the right of same-sex couples to legally marry, a sharp reversal from only a few years ago, a survey released today shows.
Latinos nationwide back gay marriage 52 to 34 percent, the Pew Research Center survey found. It’s the first time a Pew survey has found majority Hispanic support for legal gay marriage.
Latino support for legalizing same-sex marriage has been rising quickly. In a 2006 Pew survey, Latinos opposed gay matrimony by a wide margin: 56 to 31 percent. By 2009, opposition to same-sex marriage had narrowed to 44 to 34 percent.
Pew surveys show that Latinos are more likely than other Americans to support same-sex marriage, countering common perceptions in the media and among some politicians that Hispanics are more conservative on the issue.
Previous Pew surveys this year found Americans overall support same-sex marriage 48 to 44 percent.
Mirroring attitudes among the general public, Latino Catholics are far more likely to support same-sex marriage than Latino evangelicals.
That’s not surprising, because evangelicals of all ethnicities tend to be more conservative than the general population on a variety of issues, reflecting the generally conservative nature of their faith.
Religiously unaffiliated Latinos are most likely to back gay marriage.
Catholic Latinos support same-sex marriage 54 to 31 percent. Catholics overall back gay marriage 53 to 37 percent.
Evangelical Latinos oppose same-sex marriage 66 to 25 percent. That’s a less overwhelming margin than the 76 to 19 percent white evangelical opposition to gay marriage that other Pew polls this year have found.
Religiously unaffiliated Latinos support gay marriage 71 to 18 percent, and mainline Protestant Latinos back same-sex matrimony 46 to 37 percent.
The survey found that 58 percent of Latinos are Catholic, 15 percent are evangelical, 13 percent are religiously unaffiliated, 6 percent are mainline Protestants and the rest are either adherents of another religion, answered “don’t know” or refused to respond.
Pew also found that Latinos are, like the country as a whole, divided by religion in who they intend to vote for in the Nov. 6 presidential election.
Latino Catholic registered voters support President Barack Obama over Republican Mitt Romney 73 to 19 percent, while Latino evangelical Christians back the president by a much smaller margin, 50 to 39 percent. Religiously unaffiliated Latinos support Obama 82 to 7 percent.
More than 70 percent of Latino Catholics in the survey say they are Democrats or lean toward the Democratic Party, and 22 percent are Republicans or Republican-leaning.
More than 80 percent of religiously unaffiliated Latinos are Democrats or Democratic-leaning, and only 11 percent favor the Republican Party.
Evangelical Latinos are more evenly split, with 52 percent identifying with or leaning toward the Democratic Party and 36 percent supporting the GOP.
The nationally representative survey of 1,765 Latino adults, including 903 registered voters, was conducted jointly by two projects of the Pew Research Center: The Pew Hispanic Center and the Pew Forum on Religion & Public Life. It was conducted between Sept. 7 and Oct. 4, meaning that most responses were before the Oct. 3 and Oct. 16 presidential debates.
The margin of error is 3.2 percent for all Latinos, with higher margins of error for each religious group. The margin of error is 4.6 percent for Latino registered voters.

Where did you grow up, Hunter? I lived in the UK until 4th grade (3rd year), but I think that dreadful man emerged after the family moved to the US. Pretty sure he didn't make it across the Atlantic. Well, here’s the deal, anon. The Salvation Army is an evangelical Christian group, and they impose those beliefs on the people that they employ and the communities they serve. Here are a few examples:
They are so opposed to LGBT rights that they have lobbied multiple times for exemptions from Federal and Local anti-discrimination laws, and threatened to withdraw their services.
They refused to provide shelter to a homeless gay couple, unless they broke up and renounced their homosexuality.
They refused to provide a transgender woman with shelter that was congruent with her gender presentation, instead insisting she house with men. She chose instead to sleep on the sidewalk and died from the cold.
Speaking of gender, there was also this charming incident where one of their hostels refused to open the door for a 17-year-old victim who had just been brutally raped (or even call the police for her) because that particular hostel had a strict “men only” policy.
Children who can’t prove their immigration status are turned away.
The organization also disposes of any Harry Potter or Twilight related donations (rather than giving them to other charities), because they claim the toys are “incompatible with the charity’s Christian beliefs”.
During the Bush Administration (thanks to ‘faith-based initiatives’) they fired about 20 long-time employees (Jewish, Muslim, Hindu and Gay), simply for refusing to sign the organization’s statement of Christian belief.
So, that—in a nutshell—is what’s wrong with it.
