He may be able to produce a track that another DJ would mix into a set and lay down some pipe, but a 1 hour set from a guy who cant mix a fucking track.... This is going to be boring as shit and ugly.

I just think its a shame that a precious timeslot will be wasted on this guy. And he will undoubtedly play in the Sahara, while artists that fucking BUILT the sound he is profiteering off of will be relegated to the PF stage. But hey, the more retard magnets the better, right? One less conflict...

He does... it's disgusting. I went to this dubstep event in Portland last week to see Egyptrixx and Craze, and since Skrillex was also there the whole bloody place sold out in the blink of an eye.

I could tell almost no one had heard of any other song that got played that night other than Skrillex's set. It was very, very depressing.

I have to admit though, he's a crowd pleaser... To the most undesirable type of crowd. Hopefully we don't get too many of those types this year but that's really wishful thinking :P

This is why people hate dubstep. Kids that are just now finding out about it think this is what it is. They have been hoodwinked!

Honestly though, if Mau5 and his cohorts are actually bringing electric music to higher states of popularity, the better underground DJ's will also benefit from this. Basically my point is, every genre of music has the garbage that somehow is bigger than anything else, but sometimes these artists actually build a genre up so the nubs eventually get bored of them and discover the heady acts and are no longer nubs.

Everyone here listened to shitty music at some point in their life.... Korn was the act I wanted to see heading up to Woodstock 99, that experience pretty much changed my life and my musical tastes at the tender age of 15.
