I FUCKING DESPAIR...The Cure 2011

Bloodflowers is my least favorite of the trilogy. Pornography and Disintegration are stellar.

should I assume the deluxe reissue? Friend back home is obsessed too had that pre-ordered so many months in advance. Its fucking awesome, i kind of want to get all the re-issues. and it kills me that i dont have "Join The Dots", i hold it every time I go to Amoeba but can never afford it.

I was really happy that the tour(s) I caught around the 2007/2008 time frame were heavily focused on that album. Sooo good live.

I honestly do not know why it has taken me till today to post in this thread. Before the Pixies it was the Cure that resided in this black heart.

I got the chance to meet Robert and Simon at Disneyland the day before their remarkable show at Dodger Stadium in 89. I was so infatuated with Simon that i could barely speak. He is not very tall. I thought it was funny that he had to stand in line, like everyone else, for the Peter Pan ride but Robert could just walk up and get right on.

Pornography is my favorite Cure album followed by:
Faith
Seventeen Seconds
Disintegration
The Head on the Door
Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss me
The Top

The Cure in Orange is my ultimate favorite of all their DVD's. Actually, I have it on VHS.

The record reissue doesn't have all the extra singles and live tracks and whatnot, but it's the remastered version, so kind of halfway right.

I got Join the Dots back when it came out for xmas that year. The first and second discs are spectacular, and the other two arent' bad, but I got tired of remixes after awhile.

I keep meaning to buy Join the Dots used from Amoeba, but I always leave it for next time. One of these days. "To The Sky" is an amazing tune.

I have join the dots, but as it turned out, a lot of it was stuff I already had (via singles & boots). Worth buying if you can find it used though.

I literally hold it in my hand every time im there. and its right by the register too.

I always plan on getting that red vinyl version of pornography but never really can find it at a decent price, last time I checked ebay and discogs had it but at quite high prices

How high? I'm seeing it new for 27-8, which is steep but maybe not as steep as what you've been seeing.

i am also not that familiar with bloodflowers. i know maybe someday, but only because some friend of mein posted a picture of me on his live journal with that song lol.

and as far as album closers, 3 imaginary boys is awesome. it sucks though because all my cure CDs were burned for me by an ex-boyfriend. and the last song on pretty much every CD is all scratchy for some strange reason :( i really need to just buy the albums.

that boyfriend didn't know how to close the deal..

about $40, there's one on ebay for 38 and some others on discogs for 42... I'll wait though. I should have bought it at coachella in 09.

I really wish they would ditch the fucking backing tracks they're using at shows over the last few years. That shit is distracting and really tacky. Kinda brings everything else down a notch.
