predictions for phase 2?
predictions for phase 2?
Techno, deep house, and salt and peppa.
There's MUTEK crossover, right? I can't remember what the cross over was in past years.
I WANT JUJU & JORDASH.
If they book Metrik I will absolutely lose my shit.
Seriously. I would like to sit on the floor and hug my knees to a Robert Hood set.
We walked away from a live Robert Hood set in the bunker in '10 and I still hate myself for it. It was fucking fantastic from what I saw, but I think we needed to get a spot for Plastikman or something. I'd take a live Hood or Juju & Jordash set over any given five of the CLR type artists on the first wave (not to knock them, but I need a little more to get schoolgirl excited about right now).
I saw Robert Hood at a basic event over the summer in NY - He was amazing. There was like 50-100 people there which was weird. Given it was at public assembly which is a pretty small venue, but still.
Would love to see him added.
dominick fernow, in any capacity, would be much appreciated
new prurient LP features some wonderful peak-time techno
This share or suffer FB business is incredibly stupid but I laughed out loud for a good three minutes when I saw Nick O comment on the Movement Official Page with an announcement of how many more shares were needed.
WAY TO GO, NICK -- THEY TOTALLY WOULDN'T RELEASE PHASE 2 TOMORROW WITHOUT YOU OR ALL THE SHARERS EFFORTS.
I can't play nice. He's on there giving people TIPS ON WHAT COUNTS AS A SHARE. It's....too....lulzy.
omg, hilarious!!!!!!! definitely something to laugh for 3 minutes about
Nick: understands exaggeration for comedic effect; "liked" it on facebook
i'm glad i seemingly made your night
jk the thought of it sickens me
OMG GUYZ DID THEY GET ENOUGH SHARES???
Phew, they did. Now they don't have to release their "sorry, you didn't promote our festival enough for us so we're withholding the Phase 2 lineup" press release.
I'm sure A Guy Called Gerald will be there
Aw shiiiiit. Daniel Bell, Adult live, Audion live, Steffi, Moodymann, Stacey Pullen, Nicolas Jaar live and MOTHERFUCKING MASTERS AT WORK.
This line up has such a different line up than last year so far. But I'm down. Not nearly as much deep house though :(
Lame they haven't added Three Chairs.
Adult was just mediocre when I saw them open for Trans Am. Nicholas Jarr is an astonishing booking tho. That came out of left field.
Nope your right... too early in the afternoon for me. I was thinking about Jean Michale Jarre for some reason.
It is a good second phase lineup tho for sure.
Not disappointed that there is not as much deep house on the lineup.... lots of wtf stuff though. But super happy to see Daniel Bell, Steffi, Audion, Moodymann, Masters at Work, and Ellen Allien on there.
