Really happy with their new direction with this CD! detroit/acid techno! Surprised there isn't a weird/funny vocal track on it though, but I'll live.

Anyone see their DJ tour recently? I hear good things. But a live set would definitely be preferable. Didn't seem them in the Sahara in 2008, but the Mayan show last year was amazing!

I love the new album and support this 100%. They have been consistently amazing every time I've seen them and I really want to here this live.

They killed at Bestival on the main stage. Want.

Full support........I've seen 4 live sets and 1 dj set, and they seem to up their game every time I see them......loooooove the new album, even though I'm a fan of their cheesy vocals tracks, it's awesome to hear them produce pure, instrumental, unpleasant techno.........SMD is always welcome to the party

The tent was actually pretty crowded, but it was just a DJ set so it was only one of them. It was fun, but not as awesome as when they do a live set.

And their new album has some killer tracks. I so support this.

depends on preference obviously.....if you prefer Attack Decay... than you'd most likely prefer a live set and vice versa for Delicacies to dj set, cuz their dj set is faster and techier w/ less vocal tracks

They are both good just there is a time and a place for each.
SMD live set at a massive is not as good as a live set at a headlining show imo.

I saw them last week doing a DJ set and it didnt compare to there live set a few years ago, not terrible but there live is increddible

Agreed! Saw their DJ set in SF last week and they killed it. Rowdiest crowd ever. With that said, I'd prefer to see them do a live set -- love all the analog synths, etc. New work is killer -- thank god they've moved away from the gotta-have-guest-vocalists-hip-hop-mentality -- long live techno!

Ive always had a good time seeing them live and at their DJ sets but the records they release are getting progressively more boring.

I love their live sets. Saw them (last year?) at Electric Daisy Carnival.

That was an amazing set. He played a slowed down version of Escape Velocity (Chem Bros) at like 3am, I just about lost it.

Totally support this, live or DJ.

Absolutely 100% agreed. Was pretty bummed to have missed them recently but heard the set was pretty damn amazing.
