Friends. Countrymen. Unlikeable foreigners. Bill Nye is returning to his former glory with an upcoming show on the Nerdist youtube channel. More information to follow. In the meantime please enjoy his bow-tie tutorial.
Hannah, have I mentioned how much I love you lately?
Also, how is Chris Hardwick possibly 40 years old?
I'd imagine beating Jon Hamm at just about anything gives you an ageless glow in perpetuity.
Also there's apparently such a thing as this Jeopardy clue/game tracking archive. Hover the wager amounts/titles to see answers. There goes my afternoon.
I know. Dude is fucking adorable.
Do any of you watch Falling Skies on TNT? The season 2 finale was last night and it was pretty darn good :)
The amount I care about Bachelor Pad is probably too much. But. I can't stop. It's so awful. Awfully good.
Did any of ya'll watch Tales From the Crypt on HBO? I have a few of the seasons at home and have been going through them. I love the Crypt Keeper's bad puns.
Doctor Who premiere tonight!! this is the first time I've ever had to wait for a premiere and it took way too long. I only got caught up with the show for the last 2 episodes of last season -- just in time for what seems like the longest break ever!
How the heck is there not a DW thread?
http://www.coachella.com/forum/showt...t=trust+doctor There is and I can't wait either.
The Life & Times of Tim.
What are you guys looking forward to with the upcoming Fall schedule?
As for new shows, I'm curious to see what that Revolution show is all about after being bombarded with ads during the olympics. The New Normal looks funny, but I didn't watch last night's episode yet. Also looking forward to the returns of How I Met Your Mother, Big Bang Theory, 2 Broke Girls, Happy Endings, and Modern Family (yeah, I like sitcoms....).
I finished episode 13 of Twin Peaks season 2 yesterday and i am happy to report that i totally love this show.
As for what is coming up this Fall I am typing up a blog post about it that I will post in the next couple days. I'll post it here when I'm done.
The Sons of Anarchy premiere was better than anything they aired last season. Strong start to the season.
Alright my Fall schedule starts up tonight with a new episode of Glee. Here are the rest of what I will be watching:
Anyone catch the series finale of Weeds last night?
I ever since season 6 I've looked at this show as a 9 season series of 3 season chunks. Seasons 1-3 would be the Agrestic seasons where Nancy establishes her roots as a drug dealer. Seasons 4-6 would be her move to power by aligning herself with the cartel then escaping from them to protect her son Stevie. Seasons 7-9 would have been the arc of Nancy eventually going legit by first going back to her roots and trying to take over the East Coast Marijuana trade then moving to pharmaceutical Mary Jane to establishing a legit Coffee/Marijuana cafe chain. That last arc was kind of just cut out and would have fit in between the 100th episode and this finale.
I would have LOVED to see Wilson grow his cult, Shane grow more and more bitter that he decided to move away from the family business for a career he considered legit only to see them legitimize the sale of Marijuana and become a drunk, Nancy having to grow this business without Andy and to see her second marriage, and Silas becoming a father.
Sad to see it go and the last scene made me tear up a bit :-(
Looking at someone's tv watching list is a :nono if they start off by telling you they are watching a new episode of Glee
I can't even imagine watching enough television to necessitate a list.
