I'm worried. Who's Ken?
I saw a vinyl for their album today.I almost got it.
If Trent Reznor was on the fields with this project, I would be fine with the appearances of SHM, Cold Play, LMFAO and any other turd act appearing for two weekends. Great soundtrack, but then again, I rarely dislike Reznor's work.
Oops... I just posted this in the NIN thread...
Worth repeating though...
As a fan of everything and anything TR related... i'd have to say that this is a real stinker. I listened to the 6 teaser tracks for TGWTDT also, and it sounded kind of bland for how kick ass this movie looks. I really hope that a visual with give the audio some justice.
anyone else just listen to the new single on BBC 1? Was very minimalistic and boring to be honest, I hate this minimal trend crap but I will probably buy it to support TR....here it is:

Hopefully in context of an album that song will have more to offer. It feels like backwash from "The Fragile"
bumped - and hope karen o joins for a song or two/
I can't help but totally agree. Trent can produce some amazing music, so my hopes are high for the full album.
soooo anyone liking this album...because I happen to think its pretty bad. some good songs but overall bad, I guess I was expecting more.
I'm sure the production is awesome, but i cant imagine great, full songs coming from this album. i might actually just end up skipping this act, which is weird for me to say
Only one song is released from the new album. Their EP and other released music have all been excellent. I wouldn't draw conclusions from one song...
The full length leaked today, Sherlock.
I'm enjoying it so far.
I gave the full album a listen a couple days ago, and I really enjoyed it.
True, a decent amount of the songs sort of have that minimal vibe which might turn people away, but imagining these songs live is getting me really excited to see them in April. They just all seem so powerful.
Good sound system will definitely help :)
What are fan expectations on non-HTDA material being included in the Coachella or headline show set lists?
My fan expectation is that they won't play any non-HTDA material. If anything I suppose it would be something along the lines of Hurt...
...with his wife doing the vocals :rolleyes
Good ol' Trent releasing all the slower crappy songs first. Liking this album a lot more than I'd expected, they just shot up my Friday list.
Yeah, this is now my top priority for Friday. Really digging the album.
I wouldn't expect them play any non HTDA material. It would be cool to hear a NIN track or something, but honestly I don't think they'll need it.
Any idea on who's touring with the 2 of them?
Are they the only two involved in the recording process? I always figured it was a full band.
There are four members.
Trent, Mariqueen, Atticus Ross, and Rob Sheridan
Rob is more art/visuals but I would assume he'd be on stage since he's in videos and an official member as of last fall.
No one knows yet if they'll add any tour musicians.
bumblebee doesn't research answers, only questions.
All the band descriptions list all 4 of them, so that's who i'll assume will be there.
They'll probably have an additional musician(s) on stage with them, being that Rob is the equivalent of Andy the hand clapper in Depeche Mode. Adrian Belew let slip that he's touring with NIN later this year. Maybe he meant HDTA.
Trent hates me!
