Where's the uber-pretensious being represented this year? Did you finally wisen up and realize the demographic is lacking or what?
I was sort of looking forward to a couple sleeper acts like the aforementioned. Anybody think it's likely? They're all touring. Well, Devendra may be finished... but I know the other two are.

I was very surprised joanna newsom wasn't listed, maybe she'll be added....devendra will be a no considering he played last year. There aren't uber-pretentios artists, they are just good artists.
Oh snap. I didnt think Animal Collective was. I got into both bands after Coachella though, so I suppose it makes sense that I would have missed them. Grizzly Bear sort of reminds me of Animal Collective and Arcade Fire's lovechild. I thought it'd be nice to see all three bands together. Joanna Newsom is beautiful live. Not sure how she would feel about playing to such a large crowd though.
Joanna Newsom is playing All Tomorrow's Parties that weekend. Thank God.
Since AC played last year I was hoping the Annuals would come fill that spot this year. No luck though.
Annuals are so lovely. That song Mama makes me swoon.
