Re: General Phoenix Area Shows
One of the best sets in 2011

Re: General Phoenix Area Shows
Well that explains it then.

Re: General Phoenix Area Shows
I just discovered that band is also at Coachella, so you can always see them there, you know. ;)

Re: General Phoenix Area Shows
is it possible to transfer will call tickets? i can't make the toasters/Warsaw tonight and don't want my tickets to go to waste

Re: General Phoenix Area Shows
Depends on which venue. If it's the Marquee, I think you're out of luck. Not sure about anywhere else. If it's the Crescent, I bet they'd be cool & you'd just have to call over there to inform them but I've never tried that.
Jen got confirmation today that we're confirmed for 2 tickets to Muse at US Airways Center 3/16. 2 free tickets in the company skybox? Thank you very much.

Re: General Phoenix Area Shows
Hey everybody, if you got nothing going on this Monday, Feb. 18th I highly suggest checking out Dylan Pratt's CD release show at Crescent. One of the best local talents I've seen, great live performer, all around excellent musician.

My wife is a big Muse fan and I just bought tickets for the show. I will see if she wants to go up early in the day and we can grab a bite to eat and a drink beforehand if you guys are interested.

Yeah, definitely. Would be fun to show you two a place like either Brat Haus or Carly's.

Re: General Phoenix Area Shows
Totes. We'll need to do it downtown though (Brat Haus is too far).

Re: General Phoenix Area Shows
I may join in, but I'd have my kids in tow.

Re: General Phoenix Area Shows
Just read $35, I'm buying tickets for this.

Re: General Phoenix Area Shows
Why can't Modest Mouse be playing Crescent during weekend 2!?
-
Re: General Phoenix Area Shows
That has "show of the year" potential.

No kidding. They're at The Rialto in Tucson on Saturday of weekend 1 as well. Figures.

Re: General Phoenix Area Shows
A friend of mine, who practically lives at the Crescent and knows a bunch of workers there, said Modest Mouse might not actually be inside the Ballroom, but out in the parking lot. If you look on the ticketing page it says "CBVB Outdoor Event." I would assume they would use the same setup they used for Los Dias de la Crescent.

Am I the only one who missed that James Zabiela is playing the monarch tonight? Holy shit I would have been pissed if I found out I missed this wizard

Modest Mouse is in the parking lot? Chumpy.

Re: General Phoenix Area Shows
If anyone is interested in a Postal Service ticket I have one for sale. Section 4 (center) Row 20. Cost $45 ($2 below face). I'm a bit more interested in seeing Foals or Rodriguez.

Does this happen regularly?

Re: General Phoenix Area Shows
The only other time they have done this was for the Los Dias de La Crescent festival.
-
Re: General Phoenix Area Shows
It just sounds like an incredibly dumb idea, but I won't be there, so, whatever.

I think Jen's daughter may be interested. I'll mention it to her when I get home tonight.
