Tuesday's are hit or miss for the most part. Depending on the budget, Marriott Marquis could be good. It's close to Powell BART station and Mezzanine if you try to catch James Blake later that night. If you're looking for something cheap, I've stayed in the Good Hotel (no, really, that's the name) a couple of times, right by Civic Center BART. It's a little shabby, but not gross like the other stuff in the immediate area. Should be around $120/night. There are of course a lot of nicer hotels near BART but you're looking at $200+ night minimum for most hotels here.
