April 05th – Manchester Academy
April 06th – Leeds Academy
April 07th – Glasgow ABC
April 08th – Liverpool Academy
April 09th – Cambridge Corn Exchange
April 10th – London Royal Albert Hall
US tour in the Summer?
Coachella definitely not ruled out on the back of those dates. Many bands play here the week before they head over.
New album coming out April 1st. Too bad GV couldn't snag them - it must have cut too close to their euro tour.
April 1st you say?
New track is layered bliss - classic Orbital.
Killer song. So glad these guys are active again.
Here's the third revealed track off their new album.
EDIT: Video removed, official is below.
Link might not stay up, it can be streamed at pitchfork.
Amazing new material. Orbital will always be the king of edm.
Not bad for a couple of throwback acid-housers, eh?
^Thank you. i am hurting for proper U.S. shows.
Saw this interview in my twitter feed this morning:
PRAYING for either an edc or an outside lands appearance
So, the Bros couldn't resist making a Dud-Step track; Beelzebub...not sure how I feel about Wonky either. Though, I do like New France, the video's cool too.
just listened to Wonky from start to finish, i personally enjoyed it
Currently listening to Wonky. Still in disbelief that I'm hearing new Orbital.
I don't mind beelzedub. it starts off a bit too wobbly but it gets much better as it goes along.
I saw them at Coachella in 2010 :D
need US tour dates
Yeesh, looks like one hell of a show.
Grrr... looks like they wont be in the U S and A until 2013.
Just listened to Wonky all the way through and really enjoyed it. The only track I really didn't like was Wonky. I was skeptical as Beelzedub started but it did get better. My favorite is probably Stringy Acid. Really, really hope they tour it stateside.
I sure hope they do make it to the states. I'm watching their 6Mix Performance and they also have a brief interview and you can see the tension. Paul Hartnoll just keeps talking and talking and talking. At first Phil is tolerable of it the first time Paul interrupts him but then by the third time you can see his face, he's like "whatever dude".
yea, I noticed that too when I watched that video which is interesting because Phil is much more animated when they perform live.
