DIRTYBIRD THIS FRIDAY. YEEEEEEEEEEE!

A little disappointed that Julio Bashmore is no longer on the lineup (due to issues obtaining a Visa.. I'm assuming we can just blame DHS for this... since I'm still bitter about the cancellation of last year's Einsturzende Neubauten tour, I'll just add it to my list of grievances with DHS)... At the same time, J.Phlip kills it...

oh how I wish I could be there tonight....

dang, that was fun.

we made it for the last 20 minutes of J. Phlip's set. i gave her a thumbs up and she smiled at me.. i think i have a crush. she's a cutie that one.

claude came out next and weirded me out in the best way possible with some dubby, breaky type tunes to open his set. he gradually picked up the pace from there, and it started to get pretty sweaty pretty fast. moomoo did some sexydance with a babe in the front. claude seemed to be having a real good time with this one, bouncing around and vibing with all of us on the floor. the next thing i knew, i was being walked out by security for having some whiskey in my pocket.. shucks. my friends were nice enough to leave and join me in the parking lot for some underworld while we sobered up for the trek home.

twas a shame that i couldn't stay for the whole set, but now i'm even more excited for LiB :) as always, too much fun with all of you

Too much dancing was done last night. I don't think I've ever been so tired at the end of a night. It was good seeing the entire crew throwing it down on the dance floor.

hell ya it was nice meeting some of you guys, we were fucking raging last night! gotta love the dirtybirds.. I thought Justin was the best though especially when he dropped his new track with ardalan, I went apeshit

Ps. when the fuck is JUMP coming out its been out since last September.. that right there is a dancefloor bomb my friends

Holy shitt it was bananas. Jphlip threw it down. Claude had some good shit. I loved that I'm a freak song and I went nuts when he busted out the who's afraid of grindhouse. Damn

Highlight of my night was when Justin and Claude saw my mr Spock shirt and gave me a thumbs up and shit. I think I jizzed!!

Justins set was omfg. So many bangers. Jump was fucken wild. Mr spock was crazy as usually. That new jmartin and ardalan track was def a banger. God damn. Duck face always destroys the dance floor. Best party of my life!!!!

And porkchop, fucken jump is never coming out lol. I asked riva Starr when it'd release, he said very soon and that was like 2 months ago! Smh.

I really wana catch Justin at voyeur haha.

That said, I got there early for J.Phlip's set... she's fucking amazing... CVS killed it... Justin Martin killed it... they killed it together... just a ton of fun from start to finish.

Now to look forward to the 27th! I'll be opening the room up from 9:30-11:30, keeping things nice and deep to set up Mr. Jesse Rose... then Kill the Noise and Rifat Ziadeh will close things out. Should be an interesting combination.

God fucking damnit I've never had so much fun at the Avalon. MooMoo, Khoyfish and myself got there at like 9PM, and stayed until they kicked us out around 5AM.

We hung out with the three dirtybirds after the show, they were pretty drunk, haha. Justin Martin was floored, high fiving us for sticking around, telling us stories about something... Hugged a giggly smiling J. Phlip (fucking swoon). Chatted with Claude who called us "educated" and "part of the crew." Good fucking night.

MooMoo would have posted about this already as I'm sure it means oh so much to him, but he's out having more fun tonight, and I'm not, so, there you go.

I was pretty excited when Jessica dropped the Jamie Jones remix of Flash... great remix of a classic tune.

Tangentially, I thought I'd post this here as I figure some people may dig it. James Talk & Ridney's label, Extra Dry, has been doing a podcast for the last few weeks. Been some solid people on it (King Unique, Pirupa, next week is Roy Davis Jr)... This week's mix is from Social Cues (aka Alex Khadiwala & myself).
