BY ANY MEANS.
BY ANY MEANS.
I'm not sure how anybody can rate Wolf seriously, it's not bad at all, in fact I thought the album was hysterical in a comedy album kind of way... I don't think that's what he was going for though.

Pitchfork's review of the new British Sea Power is a disgrace. Fuck you Pitchfork you poseuring cunts.
My favorite Pitchfork joke of all time is still the "U.2" score that they originally gave to Do You Like Rock Music?
Oasis' heathen chemistry review is quite amusing.
4.9 for the new Black Angels. Scoff. Can't say I'm surprised though.
That Black Angels review is hilarious though.
Hyden and Cohen are hilarious when they review shit they don't like. Easily the funniest dudes at Pitchfork.
Glad to see that Nails album getting some love. I wouldn't have expected anything different from Stosuy though.
Huh. I would have figured The Terror would have scored higher.
Modern Vampires of the City - 8.9 BNM
Trouble Will Find Me - 9.1 BNM
Why are we guessing scores for an album we haven't heard yet? That's really silly.
it's the pitchfork thread.
kanye's new LP - 9.8 BNME
Because sometimes the internet is that predictable.
My prediction for Vampire Weekend isn't completely unfounded btw. Early reviews/articles are pretty glowing so far:
there is a VW leak out there somewhere.
I was talking about the National's album.
ahh my mistake.
The National have released 2 new songs, neither of which have earned a Best New Track stamp. That explains my hunch that their album will get an approving, but-- for them-- lukewarm rating. Is this silly considering we haven't heard the album? Absolutely. Is this a message board and do I care? Yes and no.
I think it's their best album, personally. I was worried it was going to be more of the same... but they're evolving.
HeavensWeep nailed it.
