You didn't give a price range-check out the marriott website. They have a lot of different options. Condos,Courtyard hotel ,Renaissance and Marriott Desert Springs are all still available as of yesterday. The Renaissance is the closest but expensive- the Palm Desert sites aren't too far from there.Otherwise look at the link in the info section.

I don't know if it is still available but I got two rooms at the America's best value inn in Palm Springs for $600 total and that is for 3 nights.

vagabond inn palm springs $64 a night. stood there couple years back. nice room but kinda far. the drive sucks going back from the festival. but they always got rooms for last minute hotel room finds. and its not ghetto.

$64 to stand there? ouch.

As of yesterday, the "official" campground wasn't sold out; if you meet their somewhat restrictive requirements, you can go there. :)

PM me if you need something. I am going to need to get rid of my motel 6 room - I just need to call them about the rates because I booked it at a very low rate before the dates were announced.

Check out craigslist.com for Palm Springs, look under temporary/sublet. There are alot of condos available at the same price or lower than the cheap hotels. And they are located in Indio or La Quinta.

I live two blocks away from Empire and have a Recreational Vehicle that can sleep up to eight people. Can send pictures, and have other options as well, depending on your budget. Will not get a better experience- I promise! 760 625-5522 CALL ME

In Indian Wells there is the Sands Hotel. I'm not sure if its all booked but you can try.

they require three night stay... 134 a night. 7 miles from the concert. straight shot down highway 111.

its one of the cheapest places you can find and very close. its a timeshare place. decent rooms. not big for partying. they ask for no crazy party kids.

I just got a room at the Indio Super 8. There seemed to be more available. Aint the greatest place but who cares. How long are you gonna be in the room anyway? Check it out. I paid 650$ for 4 days. Not the best but acceptable.

On a side note, anybody staying at this place or near by that wants to rock out/ party in the wee hours? I'm going alone (broke up with my girlfriend that I was originally going with, just so no one here thinks I'm a rapist) so I gotta find something to do.

My motel still has vacancy's the only thing is that they don't take CC, cashier's check in advance of arrival. But I've been staying there for 6 yrs and I have no complaints!!!

Lake Cahuilla still has overflow spots I think.

Rent a house. If you get enough friends together it could be a great save and luxury at the same time. We found one on Craigslist for cheap and it's in a community with seven pools!
