Overall I would give DM a solid A-
Their 10 min. version of Enjoy the Silence was the highlight of my evening.. Martins guitar playing was fantastic and they turned it into an EDM lover's wet dream.. The band sounded tight also.. My other faves in no particular order 'Never Let Me Down Again' 'Question of Lust' 'Policy of Truth' 'It's No Good' and they ended with Dave and Martin solo on 'Waiting for the Night'
Only regret is not getting to hear 'Goodnight Lovers' or 'Blasphemous Rumors'.
Loved the opening song and the morphing lil kid and old man was brilliant..
One of the best shows I've seen this year.:bump

What did DM switch Strangelove out with for the other shows? "Somebody?" I wish we got Strangelove. :(

I took my younger brother to the Hollywood Bowl show and this is all I could talk about afterward. I loved it so much. He did to and he hates EDM for the most part. But yes it was easily the highlight of my night.

i loved it also. this is one of my all time favorite songs, and I thought the band would just mail it in for their performance of Enjoy, but hot damn they nailed it.. Martin really turned it on with the guitar and Dave sang it like a champ..
i think the reason why i liked this live version so much, is I've never heard a great dance remix of Enjoy..and i've heard about 20.. if anyone knows of a stellar remix, please let me know.. Ewan Pearson's remix is my favorite, but it still falls way short of the original and getting the beauty right.. So when they stepped it up and extended it with all the incredible synths and guitar parts I was in heaven..

i would have taken Somebody over Strangelove. It was not that great. martin's solo efforts of Somebody with the keyboard player dude, would have been better. strangelove felt like a filler

We got both at the Hollywood Bowl the first night if I remember correctly.
