Also, how do you pronounce Dethklok's name? Is it really Death Clock? That has got to be one of the stupidest band names I have ever heard.

at the Orpheum....such a lame place for a metal show....

I think pronouncing it Death Clock is an awesome name. Especially when you throw "doodily dee tick tock" into your theme song.

The place they are playing here sucks as a venue but has great sound

High on Fire! They were so great at bonnaroo. It was really hard for me to leave their set for Erykah Badu.

Do they really? Wow. Also, I had never heard of these guys until this tour was anounced.

The Vancouver show is in an all seated theatre. Its actually an awesome venue. Not for a metal show though.

You have never seen Metalocalypse? Patton even did voice work on an episode.

This tour is gonna rock High On Fire is awesome and I've never seen Converge but really like some of their work

We don't get Adult Swim in Canada. We get some of the shows from Adult Swim a few months after you guys. So no, I haven't even heard of Metaloclypse. Is Dethklok some sort of joke-metal band that I am out of the loop on?

That is pretty awesome actually. The show at the music. Now that I know the context that is. So is this Dethkloks first tour then?

I think it's their third tour. They did a headlining tour and they opened for ...And You Will Know Us By The Trail of Dead their first time out.

All the Trail of Dead fans who weren't familiar with Dethklok must have been very confused by that one.

actually i would have to agree with him. metal is just garbage i will be completly honest when i was a in my youth i would remember listening to metal. such as black sabbath, slayer, metalica,etc. It slowly just got worse and worse, the most recent metalica album was by far the worse of any of theirs. Now metal music is all garbage. it is all a bunch of fat middle aged men all tatted up wearing there weird fucking clothes screaming into the microphone.

i haven't listened to a radio station since i stopped working for one (i'd say around 2004)...

if i have failed to name all the great metal acts that have come into existence since 2005, please, do inform me...

i am fairly confident any great metal act you can name has been around for at least ten years, and who's best work is behind them..
