Anchored at the Isthmus at Catalina Island with the family, watched the full moon rise off the point, seas are calm. Doesn't get much better than this...
surfed Newbreak today, the best wave at Sunset Cliffs. Can't believe people venture out there with goon cords. Do it at the wrong time and get slaughtered. Saw a couple legends.
I just got the promotion at work!!!
The g/f and I got engaged yesterday. This makes me a happy camper.
Go to the titty bar to celebrate
The titty bar will have to wait until the bachelor party stinkbutt.
I think of all the bad things that are happening in the world, then I think of the good things. The good things win every time :) cr****
It would seem your pot of gold is in a tomato plant.
My girlfriend is prepared to buy property, and when she does we're going to move in together. We saw several places this weekend that we both liked a lot, and it looks like she may make her first offer on a particular place this week. This is extremely exciting, as I am very much looking forward to getting out of the Mexican suburbs and being more in the city, and this is coinciding nicely with everything about my current house becoming filled with incessant drama and going to absolute shit.
Just taking a moment to enjoy the post show buzz of having witnessed an awesome performance with awesome friends.
Now to slam down some valium to take the edge off.
Eggnog has officially hit the shelves. So I'm drunk.
My birthday was yesterday, and I had a pretty great one. I ditched all my classes, wrote a paper, went out to dinner with my dad, got an awesome cake (see below) and had some beers with my best friends.
Successful birthday is successful.
It's snowing on the hills, my ex gave me back the grand that she owed me, and I found a place to live. Damn, it's a great day.
I just got my renewal bill for my car insurance and it dropped $40/month. The stupid tickets I got from the cameras on the freeway have finally fallen off my record. YAY!
Amazing weekend in the mountains with a dip in the hot springs.
I overpaid on my Natural gas bill on my balanced monthly plan, and got a cheque in the mail for $225.00. :)
I am trying to understand the mentality of a person who feels joy at being returned money that was hers to begin with. "They didn't steal it from me! This is a great day!"
I was just as excited when APS released a portion of my deposit they have held for over a year. I don't have to pay electric bills for 2.5 months. It's like finding money in the wash machine. Whoot.
Tom regularly finds $225.00 under the cushions on his couch. No big deal.
Perhaps you should reconsider, Audra.
No. I'm saying getting money out of your account at the ATM is not a reason to celebrate. Lesser minds seem to think it, or its equivalent, is.
Receiving an unknown overpayment back from a homogenized monthly plan isn't analogous to taking money out of an ATM unless you're immune to joy. It's a documented Bank Error In Your Favor and a perfectly legitimate reason for a good mood.
TomAz, if you are never in a good mood, why do you come here? I'm in an excellent mood. I dropped 20 cd's to my evo for my little trip in two days. Oh boy....... The Bridge will be the first show on my "When I'm 64 Tour" :) cr****
