TCHY,
If a movie was being made about your life, who would you like to play your role? Also, what's the title and what songs are on the soundtrack?

Re: Get to know your fellow board members....
TCHY, what do you do for a living?
Overall, what has been your all time favorite coachella performance?
What is your dream coachella lineup?

I'm a manager at a Hotel here in Denver. Been working in hotels for 9 years, since I was 17.
Depends on the day you ask me: Today I would say Portishead...tomorrow Radiohead...its probably a tie between the 2. Portisheas was just too amazing for words...and Thom was possessed by a demon during the 04 show.
I will be back to edit my dream Coachella list.
EDIT: Are we talking of acts that are still around or acts that I can raise from the dead?

Where do I begin? I was really mean to a girl that I liked because I got some really bad advice. It completely back fired and to this day I feel like a complete ass for it. I will never forget it.

Re: Get to know your fellow board members....
Marco, is there an amount of money for which you would be willing to become a prostitute for one night? (You don't get to decide who your john is.)
-
Re: Get to know your fellow board members....
Marco, if you could only subscribe to and read one periodical (newspaper, magazine, journal, etc.) for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?

You should really express this in the number of good concert tickets.

Re: Get to know your fellow board members....
My usual question: Cats or dogs?
A more in-depth question: Have you ever done any drugs? And what is your reason for abstaining? (I don't do any, either, so I'm always curious why others don't.)

Re: Get to know your fellow board members....
You can't raise people/bands from the dead but you may reunite bands

Re: Get to know your fellow board members....
TCHY,
Please take us on a journey through the musical phases of your life. What did you listen to as a kid? Any parental/older sibling influences? What bands turned you onto different genres of music?

The Economist. I feel that their coverage of news is the most well balanced of any newspaper or news organization on the planet. Especially when they do they in depth coverage of certain regions and countries. Has the right balance of free markets and social awareness. I have been reading it since June of 2003 and I haven't stopped. I first picked up the magazine because they have an article on the Nordic Countries and have been addicted ever since.

Both. We have Cats and Dogs. All rescue animals BTW.
I have never done drugs in my life. I drink on occasion and have smoke one cig before but that is pretty much it. It could be that the reason I have never done drugs was because my father was a "supplier". I remember when I was younger I used to find bags of all these green stuff and it wasn't until I was 16 that I knew what it was. The only time I almost did did drugs was actually Coachella 2001....my brother and his friends were tripping on E and offered me some...I thought about it until his friend fell into the fetal position and it turned out that they had a bad dose...that it was like 50 degrees outside and they were sweating balls...so yeah..never have done drugzzzzzzz...

I grew up on The Beatles and Progressive Rock. Every Saturday morning my father would wake us up by blasting his music on his old LP Player. Lots of Beatles, Yes, Queen, Jethro Tull, Etc. After my parents divorced he gave me all his old LPs, which I still have. My older brother's influence was in the form of a little band called: Nine Inch Nails. which lead to all sorts of little things. But my musical awakening was 1995 ers Smashing Pumpkins and the singles Bullet with Butterfly Wings and 1979. SP lead to Bowie ( I was so obessed with SP that I saw Bowie's 50th Bday concert because Billy was on it) and Bowie lead to everything else. Living in Las Vegas, I got most of my music ideas from the mouths of the bands I listened to. From Billy taking about MBV to Thom Yorke taking about Sigur Ros. Las Vegas never got concerts either. So my concert awakening was Coachella 2001.

I have only lived in Colorado since Oct. 06. I am a born and raised Las Vegan. I am not sure where I will end up honestly. I love Denver and Colorado but I will probably end up living in California. Or even New York. Maybe even Northern Europe.

oh jesus...I was never really into relatioships before my wife came along...I kind of just "played the field". The closest thing to a serious relationship I had before my wife was a long distance thing with a british girl I meet in Japan. Of course that didn't work in the long run....
