PETA Urges Ben & Jerry's To Use Human Milk
Group Says Move Would Help Humans, Cows
WATERBURY, Vt. -- People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals sent a letter to Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield, cofounders of Ben & Jerry's Homemade Inc., urging them to replace cow's milk they use in their ice cream products with human breast milk, according to a statement recently released by a PETA spokeswoman.
"PETA's request comes in the wake of news reports that a Swiss restaurant owner will begin purchasing breast milk from nursing mothers and substituting breast milk for 75 percent of the cow's milk in the food he serves," the statement says.
PETA officials say a move to human breast milk would lessen the suffering of dairy cows and their babies on factory farms and benefit human health.
"The fact that human adults consume huge quantities of dairy products made from milk that was meant for a baby cow just doesn't make sense," says PETA Executive Vice President Tracy Reiman. "Everyone knows that 'the breast is best,' so Ben & Jerry's could do consumers and cows a big favor by making the switch to breast milk."
"We applaud PETA's novel approach to bringing attention to an issue, but we believe a mother's milk is best used for her child," said a spokesperson for Ben and Jerry's.

someone get merle in here quick

Re: For Breast Milk Lovers Only
We'd have lactating whores going wild for payoff...
I was a breastfeeding champion when my boys were babies and how is taking milk from a lactating mother less of an impact than taking it from a cow...which baby is more significant here...
uhhh but on the other hand breast milk is much more tastier!!!

Re: For Breast Milk Lovers Only
so we are going to replace all the cows in pens with those suction devices with women? that's a nice visual...
the fact that it is peta saying this makes it irrelevant in my eyes.

Video no longer available. I'll assume it was relevant to this discussion though.

How else do you think they make it taste like the nectar of the gods?

Re: For Breast Milk Lovers Only
I love Ben and Jerry ice cream but I wouldn't buy it if it contained breast milk.

I LOVE that episode. Only Ross never actually chugs the breast milk, Joey does.
However, the thought of breast milk in Ben & Jerry's is seriously make me gag right now
-
Re: For Breast Milk Lovers Only
Ross drinks it during the end credits I believe. I just KNOW Ross drank it. It's playing in my head right now, unless I'm totally making that up

Re: For Breast Milk Lovers Only
This would never happen. America has way too many hang ups involving sex, human anatomy and biological processes.
A year or two ago it freaked out a coworker that two or three women were using a spare office on our floor for breast milk pumping for their babies. He was gonna claim sexual harassment (as fucking stupid as that sounds).

Have your woman add a few squirts to your coffee...

What a fucktard...it's a natural process for feeding a baby...I can't stand the people that have a problem with this especially the ones that see you boobing your kid and have this offensive look on their face...

Re: For Breast Milk Lovers Only
PETA has gone too far... again.

Re: For Breast Milk Lovers Only
why the hell does PETA always have to make vegetarians and vegans look like total psychos... it would have been a lot more logical to suggest soy, rice or almond milk.

Perhaps it was Pamela that suggested the idea? http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/d...son-pamela.png

Re: For Breast Milk Lovers Only
Ha. Remember those are basically a waste of space when it come to functionality. Though I know little to nothing about implants, I think its possible that the implant could press on other parts of the inner titty, reducing their ability to produce milk.... maybe?

Re: For Breast Milk Lovers Only
Merle has made his own Breast Milk Ice Cream, I think that's how he snuck that milk in, he froze it and let it defrost once he was past the security check point...

Re: For Breast Milk Lovers Only
Being serious here now: breastmilk is a very rare commodity that should ONLY be used for the infants who can only drink breastmilk. There are some infants who need it and cannot drink formula as a substitute, and there are a limited number of women breastmilk donors who supply that need for free. (yes, there are breastmilk banks like blood banks)
This stunt by PETA is incredibly insulting for those parents who have those at-risk infants.

That pisses me off. Americans are such prude sometimes. That was their children's FOOD for God's sake.

Actually smaller chested women produce more milk then larger breasted women due to more fat cells and less milk ducts or whatever. I do not know about implants but I think it would follow along the same lines.

Re: For Breast Milk Lovers Only
I would love to **** a chick that has titties full of milk! I could squeeze the milk all over me while I dug her out. That would give a whole new meaning to thirst quencher.

Not really sure if this is the case. My mom and my sister (both small-chested like me) were not able to breastfeed for long, and I had some problems of my own.
I've heard that implants can damage a woman's ability to breastfeed at all.
