As much as Payton accomplished in Dallas by turning that god awful three headed monster of Carter/Testaverde/Bledsoe into a 3,000 yard season and convincing Parcell's that the kid from his alma mater who's name rhymed with Homo could actually be a starter in this league, I can't see him being able to have a relationship with an owner as possessive and clinically insane as Jerry Jones.
For reference see the relationships with Jimmy Johnson and Bill Parcells, good coaches never work with Jerry.

Yep, this is pretty much the consensus of Cowboys fans everywhere. We have to resign ourselves to hoping the Cowboys will somehow win despite Jerry Jones, or wait for his slow crawl to the grave. While this is all true, he probably has the worst awareness of any QB in the league. Makes dumb decisions throwing into double or triple coverage and doesn't see defenders coming at him. I'm just wondering at this point who's he's going to be playing for next year since he's as good as gone.Quote:
