Re: Smashing Pumpkins U.S. Tour 2008/2009
I want to know if I get the vinyl do I still get the concert footage on DVD and what about all those bonus tracks? I'm guessing not. We'll have to see how they break down these packages. Right now Amazon has it listed but they mention everything, vinyl, dvd's, cd's etc. with a price tag of $99. I don't think that's accurate though.
Re: Smashing Pumpkins U.S. Tour 2008/2009
This is amazing news. So many rare/never before heard Mellon Collie tracks are gonna be included. The full tracklist is absurd and can be found at

This is the reissue I have been waiting for most. Absolutely cannot wait!
And how in God's name do they have more unreleased tracks from that session??

I read this years and years ago, so don't quote me, but I believe Billy said circa 96 that he had five albums worth of material from the Mellon Collie era.
Re: Smashing Pumpkins U.S. Tour 2008/2009
this is great news. i'm still looking forward to them finally releasing the final show video.
Re: Smashing Pumpkins U.S. Tour 2008/2009
Tonight in Calgary they played 1979. As per the photo of the setlist that was posted to Facebook, they finished with Black Diamond. I did not realize that this was the Kiss song. They rocked it.
The Oceania part of the set sounded great. Full marks for having the balls to play the whole thing.

Re: Smashing Pumpkins U.S. Tour 2008/2009
4,500 in Calagary last night. Floor GA still available for Edmonton tonight.
Pretty sure those are both markets that Billy hasn't played since 2000.

Is this in a hotel ballroom or something?
Mike really is a rock solid drummer. I'm seeing them on the 13th. Should be good.
Re: Smashing Pumpkins U.S. Tour 2008/2009

Its the back stage area for whatever arena they were in Canada. People that shell out 300+ for vip get a pre show performance. 3 or 4 songs.
Re: Smashing Pumpkins U.S. Tour 2008/2009
surprisingly last night i actually enjoyed a good handful of the new album more than the classics they played
Re: Smashing Pumpkins U.S. Tour 2008/2009
They play here on Monday I think. There was a promotion a couple of days ago and they were two for one. Me thinks slow tic sale here anyway. cr****

$25 loge tickets out there, if I had more interest in the new album and the Billy Corgan Experience I'd jump all over this opportunity
