Blue Screen Life is the only one I really remember liking from them. If it wasn't for Daniel Danger doing the artwork I would not have known they were still going.

Yeah, their best album is Summer in Abaddon. That album is killer. Blue Screen Life is decent, but not as tense as Summer.

this album is sounds like they set out to recreate the worst of the shins catalog and failed in a painstakingly slow, boring way.

Bryan is right about Summer in Abaddon being Pinbacks best. It is followed by the Offcell EP and then Bluescreen Life..

Exactly. And Offcell has their best song, Microtonic Wave. What a killer track.

And SmellyBath is pretty off about the '90s thing...from the few songs I've heard this album may not be very good, but they have always had more of an early '00s sound, and that hasn't changed.

Pretty crazy that Ty Segall's new one gets out on Tuesday and no leak yet...

there's two other "new vatican shadow" releases. plus a fourth which will probably hit the web soon. dude needs to slow down.

I only know of whatever is on spotify. A combination of school and convenience has deterred me from actually tracking down other releases that aren't on spotify. Regardless, the song is awesome.
