i went to Sasquatch for the first time a few weeks back. Nothing compares to Coachella, but Sasquatch is still pretty damn cool. Main attraction is the Gorge. i was hypnotized by it beauty and just loved sitting near the top of the slope and looking at it as the light changed. At one point i was talking to a "cool person" and they were complaining about the stage and how it had nothing going on "show wise". i pointed out the show was behind the stage. Her response was "oh yeah."

i didn't take too many pictures because i was in vacation mode and hanging with a very excellent friend who would call me out when i was getting obsessive with the camera. 3 parts there will be for Days 1, 2 and 3. Here's part 1:

Hobby. i just likes to take the pictures. It would be interesting one day to take some time off from obligational employment and go on an "assignment". i'm currently just taking pictures of the things that come up in my life. Although i would not have gone to Stagecoach on my own without the invitation (i really like those pictures a lot...interesting to be in a whole new world).

hmmmmm...i wasn't ever imagining going to the DNC, but that would be totally fascinating. That's going to be photographer Mecca during that week. i'm going to Ireland during that time for a family reunion and hopefully a couple of days of The Electric Picnic. Wow, all the sudden i feel like a bad citizen. i can't wait to see your evidence from that week. Wow! Tons of good pictures there.
