Re: Will California ever fall into the ocean?
No, and if it does my Tustin property might be beach front, so I'd be cool.
-
Re: Will California ever fall into the ocean?
Nevada, Arizona & Utah would just be one massively big beach...
-
Re: Will California ever fall into the ocean?
The other day I said:
"I really wouldn't be upset if California fell off into the ocean."
But then I remembered Coachella, and retracted my statement.

Re: Will California ever fall into the ocean?
maybe we should resay this to 'the COASTLINE of california'
At least if that happened the smog would go away
-
Re: Will California ever fall into the ocean?

Re: Will California ever fall into the ocean?
and california will become a prison state, just like in Escape from L.A.
but it won't happen for a while...2032, or something like that i think.
edit:
wait, found it. September, 2040
the most planets ever will be aligned, and some say that the gravitational pull from said alignment will cause unprecidented tidal waves, earthquakes, storms, etc. These will occur all over the world causing old continents to break up and new ones to form.
So get ready now!
Some say the end is near.
Some say we'll see armageddon soon.
I certainly hope we will cuz
I sure could use a vacation from this
Stupid shit, silly shit, stupid shit...
One great big festering neon distraction,
I've a suggestion to keep you all occupied.
Learn to swim.
Learn to swim.
Learn to swim.

And I'm praying for tidal waves
I wanna see the ground give way
I wanna watch it all go down
Mom please flush it all away
I wanna watch it go right in and down
I wanna watch it go right in
Watch you flush it all away

Re: Will California ever fall into the ocean?
I was actually stating this as the fact that Tool has only done one soundtrack being Escape From LA and the song was Sweat not Aenima

Re: Will California ever fall into the ocean?
Fall into the ocean? Ha! I don't think so! We do shit different around here you know! We'll all slide in sideways screaming, "Holy shit, what a ride!"
-
Re: Will California ever fall into the ocean?
Or, better yet...Since one of the main breakoff points just so happens to be right here in Coachella Valley, imagine how nice the festival will be with the sound of waves in the background and that ocean breeze to keep things cool!

You must consider where the fault is. The western edge of CA will continue to move north and probably form some sort of island off the coast.
But as mentioned earlier, we (the "us" we and probably humans as a species) will not be around to enjoy the new coastline.
