Or, better yet...Since one of the main breakoff points just so happens to be right here in Coachella Valley, imagine how nice the festival will be with the sound of waves in the background and that ocean breeze to keep things cool!

You must consider where the fault is. The western edge of CA will continue to move north and probably form some sort of island off the coast.

But as mentioned earlier, we (the "us" we and probably humans as a species) will not be around to enjoy the new coastline.

The cliff I live on looses 20' every year from wind, errosion and dumb fucks climbing and digging it up for fun which makes it unstable...

Well, according to this map I might still have beach front, but it would be on the side that I hadn't expected. I could live on an island. As long as we get to keep some of the mountains and the desert. Coachella Islands . . . I like the sound of that.
