Atmosphere vs Kanye West

I love both but as a producer and writer Kanye takes the cake...im not factoring in his Ego and all that other crap just the music...atmosphere Lucy Ford is my fave album from them,but with Kanye i would say that Late registration and Dark fantasy just blow anything atmosphere ever did

I side w/ Atmosphere.... i can relate more to what Slug talks about. Atmosphere got me through highschool.

I got through college listening to Atmosphere but come on, can you imagine Atmosphere closing out Coachella? Kanye by far.

Atmosphere has closed out Coachella.... on the Outdoor in '09 against the Killers. Only person ive seen on the Outdoor do an encore.

both are terrible shallow music. Whatever they are making money.

I don't get this poll. They are two completely different hip hop artists who rap about completely different topics. If it was Kanye vs. Jay Z I would understand because they both rap about the same shit (usually about how they're the best and how much money they have), while Slug goes in a totally different direction with his rhymes.

You're a fool. Slug is far from shallow, he's an everyday dude, unlike Kanye Kardashian

Kanye makes better music, but Atmosphere is the better technical rapper.

I think Kanye has better skills from rhyme patterns to punch lines. Slug is more of a narrator of rap, telling stories from other people's perspectives.

Im the guy that stopped listening to kanye after college dropout....Kanye at Chella was better than Atmo at ROO.
