I'm doing Friday, Saturday, and Sunday mixes for friends, so I appreciate all the Coachella mixes so far. It's definitely helping me with artists I'm not familiar with. If I do a mix that doesn't have a lot of repeats, I'll try to post, but I'm on dial-up, so I'm not promising anything.

If you're going on Friday you really should check out Gogol Bordello.My brother has seen them at Warped and says they are a complete trip and steal the show.This would be a good act to check out while the ****** are on the mainstage.

John - listening to yuours, but I burned the CD and the track order is all out of whack from your listed order. This may be a problem on my end, but I won't know until I get back home and check my iTUmes to see how it came up. Good mix, though. Breakjaw's was downloading when I left for work.
John's is downloading now at home (unless AOL has booted me again). I'll snag the others in the order that they were posted, and this weekend will be spent listening solely to Coachella mixes and artists (except for Friday night when I'm watching the Sixers get their ass handed to them by the Cavaliers. Oh well. At least we'll have cold beer at the game.)

Anyone else having a problem seeing the code on breakjaw's last mix?
Hmm, I'm not sure. I don't have iTunes on my computer so Im not sure how the files will come up there. I edited the filenames and the id3 tags (v1 and v2) to have the track number for the order I put together. But, well, the songs still work regardless of order.Quote:

Haha. I don't get that ordering at all. It's not by original track number, song title, aritst, original album title... anything. Maybe it is better tho!
Breakjaw did a pretty good job with the mixes, so I'm not going to bother. Thumbs up Mr. Breakjaw. And "Bob's Yer Uncle" is my favorite Happy Mondays tune for the record, so props for that. They won't play it at Coachella though.

When I heard the opening piano of the Regina Spektor song, I thought it was "Something to Believe In" by Poison. I kind of wish it had been.

I'm working on my own mix that will definitely add some new flavor (Circa Survive, Ozomatli, Pharoahe Monch, etc.). My time is limited these days, but it'll be up here eventually.
By the way, I think its aboslutely amazing how many cool people are here and willing to hook shit up for others. Very cool. This is the main thing that convinced me to make the trip out from Philly by myself last year for my first Coachella. I'm going out again with 15-20 others for my bachelor party this year.
How do I upload to yousendit? I have an account and compressed folder ready to go, but I cant figure out how to make it so other people can download what I have posted
They email you a link to the download. then you tell us what that link is. We click on it and it takes us to the download page.
If you want to be real fancy-like you make a picture a link to that download page.
I still don't know how to do that picture thing. I couldn't do it on the old board either. I'm such a loser.
Breakjaw if you have time will you re-up your 3rd one because it says the download slots are exhausted or somesuch thing when I click it.

At yousendit anymore you have to sign up for a free account before you can upload files of a certain size. Once you do that just click on browse, find the zipped file and put in your email address as the "to" and the "from" when it's finished post the link. You don't have to sign up for a free account at megaupload or bigupload though so I think they're kindof better.
