I just noticed that the Wiltern show starts at 9, and there's an opener. Why do all the Wiltern shows always start so late? I'm a night owl, but they have a curfew of 11:30, so no 2 hour set. The Dresden Dolls went over curfew but still played for a half hour shorter than usual. Still an amazing show, but, yeah.

on another note, I avoided buying the re-release of Young Team when I was in the uk, the logic being that it would be available cheaper once I got home. which would be true if it was being released here... but cannot find it anywhere. is it a uk-only thing? fuck.

Are you talking about the CD? They had tons of them at Amoeba and you should be able to pick it up on Amazon if you cannot find it in stores. The vinyl is a different story. You will need to buy that online and have it shipped from the UK. Only 2,000 of them were made and only 500 were being sent to US distributors.Quote:
