Ooops $40, how did I miss that. L.A. is only $22.50 but add fees and whatnot and it will be $40 pretty much. Just remember to go in person and buy it, itll just be over $20 for you.

oh yeah definitely. The venue is like a 10 minute drive, i'll definitely be buying tickets there. Fuck ticketmaster.
Well I am already considering the Sigur Ros show in Seattle... and with all the money I am spending on concerts... I don't really know if I could afford much more.
I just noticed that the Wiltern show starts at 9, and there's an opener. Why do all the Wiltern shows always start so late? I'm a night owl, but they have a curfew of 11:30, so no 2 hour set. The Dresden Dolls went over curfew but still played for a half hour shorter than usual. Still an amazing show, but, yeah.
no no no...fuck you...go see Mogwai. There's no questions here. You see Mogwai, you get your face melted and your stomach kicked in and you vomit from the sonic joy entering your ears. And you enjoy every fucking second of it. You don't not see Mogwai...that's a rule.
Tyler speaks the truth.
In case you wanted to know, Album and single covers here.
The kid is slow to come around. He will regret it later when lets say they play Coachella, he sees a bit of them and realizes the awesomeness he didnt witness 8 months prior cause he thinks we are overhyping this.... That 3 week time period in sept/oct is gonnabe insane, Mogwai, Sigur Ros and MBV, I love the fall..............
Wow is this sold out already? damnit why didnt i see this yesterday
nvm tickets onsale the 13th
Tickets for the Atlanta show are only $18. They're going to be screwed when they go back to Scotland and it turns out they only made GBP300 after the exchange for the whole tour.
$22.50 for san francisco... that's less than I thought. great!
on another note, I avoided buying the re-release of Young Team when I was in the uk, the logic being that it would be available cheaper once I got home. which would be true if it was being released here... but cannot find it anywhere. is it a uk-only thing? fuck.
Young Team was re released here and everything. And its ''cheaper'' per say.
Are you talking about the CD? They had tons of them at Amoeba and you should be able to pick it up on Amazon if you cannot find it in stores. The vinyl is a different story. You will need to buy that online and have it shipped from the UK. Only 2,000 of them were made and only 500 were being sent to US distributors.
odd, when I was at amoeba last weekend I couldn't find any copies. I see it on amazon now -- it still displays the original artwork, which is why I didn't see it before. did they reuse the old artwork for the US release?

oh, yeah this photo looks like it was just a slip case:

that's probably what I saw when I was in the uk. then it all makes sense. except for amoeba being all out of copies... I guess I'll check elsewhere.
Man, I wish someone would invite me into Dracula Family...
Enjoy.
does the wiltern in LA have a box office to buy tickets? because I am thinking about going to this now, but I don't want to pay ticketmaster rape charges. 25 bucks flat would be nice.
I really like that. is it from the album?
mogwai are loud, yes, but I really wish people would stop putting so much emphasis on their volume. loudness does not equal greatness. it's not loudness alone that makes their shows so epic.
having said that, finding the right words will take me a moment.
It was an unreleased song that is on the Spring 2008 Rock Action sampler. I am not sure if it will be on the upcoming album yet, as they haven't released a track list. If it is any indication of how the new album will sound, it sounds like it will crush Mr. Beast.
it's not on the album. check it out, from their official website:
"mixed at Castle of Doom". how awesome does that sound? also, they forgot to add the part "and will be remastered at a location to be determined in Spring 2018". sorry, I'm a cynic.Quote:
