volunteer at vegoose :)

WANT TO GET INVOLVED WITH VEGOOSE?

We are looking for eager music lovers to help make sure Vegoose is the best yet in 2007. We are looking for festival volunteers to check in October 26 th and work the 27 th and 28th.

All festival volunteers will check in Friday evening at Sam Boyd Stadium and work one shift per day on Saturday and Sunday.

Remember, you must be at least 18 years old to volunteer.

I don't quite get this. This isn't a non profit organization, it's a commercial venture. No mention is made of any compensation. What would 'volunteers' get out of being unpaid labor? To me it sounds like they don't want to pay people properly for working their festival. I guess I do get it, but I don't get why anyone would want to do it.

They have to pay for all of the bands they added after the initial lineup somehow... oh wait.

You get free admittance to the festival in exchange for your shift each day.
