Animal Collective on Sunday.

Wow, fake posters already? Is this "lineup" posted on Wikipedia, NME or Billboard yet?
By the way, the dates on the poster look like they say "April" when we all know the dates will be May 2,3,4 (assuming they stick with the three day endurance trial)
Well then. I just moved, so I have an excuse for being out of the loop. Dammit. The poster is still fake. Anyways, on the Desert Sun website it says "end of April, dates TBD." That's hardly a confirmation.
Just when I think I am a loser for posting a lot on this message board, someone comes along with absolutely no life, taking hours to come up with a lame ass fake poster, to make me feel a lot better about myself.
There was an article with the dates.
haha! it might be fake, but it sure is exciting!
At best it might be a wish list or test design (assuming the source is legit), but i doubt more than a handful of bands are already booked for next year.
Dave Wang on Sunday
Hey, even though this picture is totally fake, has it not spawned inciteful conversations? Besides its a nice change of pace as alot of threads that have dominated this board the last couple of months are losing their steam and we (I) need something else to discuss.
The big names missing from this poster are Underworld and Portishead. I really hope both are there next year. I was also REALLY hoping Prodigy would play next year.
The Verve underneath "Bowie" was a cool touch too. I would honestly be ok with this for next year. That is, depending on some of the smaller acts. However, Broken Social Scene and Armin Van Burren seems to be billed a little high. And, dare I say it, My Bloody Valentine is billed to high as well.
Props to the person who designed this poster.
I wonder what Dani thinks of the this thread...
David Bowie instead of Bowie.
Put Bowie on sunday.
Don't put Armin Van Buuren on the first lines.
Maybe change Bowie or Radiohead for The White Stripes.
Post it ending december or beginning january.
It would have been better.
I have to wonder...if this is a hoax, why go through all the trouble of making it unreadable? Making fake posters is fucking hard, I tried, but then again, I never learned photoshop. Well, maybe it's to make us wonder if there's a chance it's legit. But it's not. Not remotely possible. I'm sure they have an outline of what they want, but how many of those bands are booked so far? Maybe a few. A dozen at the most.
Bowie-Radiohead-My Bloody Valentine would be to die for, but no Portishead? Come on, they are finally playing live again. Bad hoax.
Can anyone see if Asobi Seksu is in that poster somewhere? If so, then I'll have to show respect for that.
I thought Portishead were 3rd line Sunday. (1st band) - either that or Portastatic or Port 'O Brien.
Come to think of it, this could've been a lot more ridiculous.
Like if Daft was headlining.
The Jaxx and Chemical Brothers on the same day will never happen.
Simon Ratcliffe wouldnt allow it, nor would he allow a lower billing then the Chemical Brothers. Arrogant little prick.
Why isn't Van Halen playing?
i hope this is real so when its officially announced, this board explodes!
I want to see the smaller bands on that line up.
I wanna go to the sleepover. You know, just to check things out...
Also, I'd like to believe that Goldenvoice is still reaching out to Talking Heads.
Ok, that's enough. Now you're just trying to be logical. I think you all need to stop putting any thought into this and just except it. GV obviously has their shit down this year and started a little early. and Portishead is at the bottom of Friday next to 1000 Homo Djs
I see Tibbie and the Problem Solvers on the bottom for Saturday
and DJ Bunghole on Sunday.
