Good things are happening at work... sorta... they've opened up overtime- for the 1st time since last summer. No one knows if it'll last 2 weeks or the rest of the year, but it's nice to have that little bit extra $$$ for the trip. I book airfare on March 12 (when I get paid), but I'm eyeing a Delta flight into LAX the Tuesday before the fest, so I can chill in LA for a couple of days before the fest starts
! Did I do something?
I'm a sustainer but don't get the Current newsletter... how did I miss out on that? Ali, like Brother Ali or Ali Lozoff? I was at the bday celebration, but didn't know that the purple one showed up until after the fact... I won't be up that early to hear Prince's song, but look at how many artists on Coachella's bill that the Current plays regularly... Just listen to that station and you get agood sampling on a lot of artists... So, you never told me the Clap Your Hands Say Yeah story hehe.
lets go private then
Yeah... I'm a Sustainer...
I work Thurs-Sat overnights... a really f'd up schedule that I need to keep until i enroll back in school in the fall and see what my schedule is like. Having 4 days off during the week to focus on school- nice. Never having a weekend off... really sucks. It's not worth the trade-off frankly. But it pays the bills and gives me 11 days off from the Sunday before to the Thursday after Coachella. Kinda nice for that.
If you got a FB, or a cell # maybe we can check out a show sometime. You are onsite camping right?
Got my airline tixs today w00000000000t
oh you know i love big bones. the bigger the better i always say. will you be part of any boardie meetups?
Thanks. Not so sure about that. I'm flying into Ontario 'cause it's a whole heck of a lot cheaper for me. Just waiting on my cousin to get back to me about frequent flier miles... Less than two months to go!!
Also, looking at what you put on Grant's profile... no Miike Snow for you? You're lucky to get tix to that Avett Bros gig... Frankly of all the people coming to Minneapolis, I'm most excited to see Wynton Marsalis and the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra in March.
