It's not ever gotten that far. It's all rather recent I've realized I was feeling as I am. Moving isn't something I can do, as I've got a 6-year old daughter in elementary school. And while the woman in question is from the east coast, she's never said anything about wanting to leave where she is. And I'd never want someone to move for me anyway. Does she feel the same way as me? That's something of a grey area. I honestly don't know, but my cold, dead heart fears she might not. It's actually a lot more complicated than that, though. I think 'yes,' and maybe also 'perhaps not' is a more appropriate response.
Excellent! I live in the Catskills, so I'm defiinitely planning to hit up ATP this year. I'm still kicking myself for not making the scene for the MBV-curated event. I'll turn out just fine. I've just sort of fallen for someone who lives across the country. Much as I loved visiting old friends in San Francisco last month, someone rather special is also there. And there she remains, sadly. Despite my cynical exterior, I'm sort of a dipshit romantic at heart. And it always seems to blow up in my face. And that is definitely way more than you could have possibly wanted to know about that!
Alas, I'm heartsick. But that's neither here nor there. Otherwise, things are grand. Being "stranded" in Palm Springs for two extra days last month means I get to fly back for free for Coachella 09. I hope my good fortune is extended by a kick-ass lineup. How are things in your part of the world?
