Yeah, I've got an idea. How about not drink alcohol? With all that sneaking and lying about your age, it would certainly be much better to just not drink.

while in line last year i personally observed 2 people successfully entering with 1 gallon jugs of something clear. They were smart about it... i was impressed.

Last year, I simply walked in past Security at the point I was supposed to head over to the inspection table for the guy to look through my backpack. There was so much activity going on, he either didn't notice, or didn't want to notice. It was as easy as carrying the bag in my hand opposite the security guy, and being cool.

I had a bag full of illegal contraband...gatorade and water.

I'm going to try and bring in water & gatorade again this year. If I get caught or I have a stubborn security guard that won't let it slide, I'll toss bottles out to people in the crowd because it'll already be HOT by then.

Psychic Friend is watching.

Stop posting about this, just sneak it in. Be smart about it, seriously I don't think most of the security guards care too much, just don't get out of control.

This is how I snuck in a gallon of water last year: They always ALWAYS catch me somehow sneaking in water, and just throw it to the side. Makes me sad. So last year, I didn't try to sneak any in. As I was being patted down I saw the many unopened bottles and jugs of water strewn about as usual. Right as I was done being checked, I just picked one up and took it in. Nice free water all day. Plan on doing that one again this year.

get a six pack of water bottles but leave them in the plastic carrying wrapper. empty however man you need for alcohol and fill them up. chances are, if the bottles are still in the plastic carrying wrapper, they won't notice that the seals have been broken on a few. just an idea.

ha. no, i'm camping. i guess i just assumed the op was camping as well. from what i've read on the faq's, campers can bring their own food and beverage. so, i plan on doing this. hilarious joke, though.

im not sure about the location of the two, but why not just throw the water over the fence or wall or w.e ?

instinct
01-27-2007, 06:28 PM
umm.. what fence.. it's not like there is a fence that you can easily throw stuff over to the other side.. the only place i could think of would be near the sahara.. but there is always security over there.. the fences are where the backstages/vendor booths are at..

can i ask, i'm coming from the UK, and although you're not allowed liquids into the festival, whats the deal with on-site camping? i'm not sure of the layout so how does that work....

The real question should be What happens if you get caught trying to sneek alcohol into the campground? Will they simply confiscate it? Deny Entry? Both?

I would highly doubt they deny entry. I I was going to sneak in alcohol, I would just guzzle it in line and then puke it back up once you get inside. YUMMY!!!!!:rolleyes

pretty impossible to sneak alcohol into the venue, but easy to sneak into the camping site (clear hard alcohol in water bottles, or stuff the alcohol into sleeping bags or something)

It's what I like drinking. Sometimes.

has anybody ever just tossed stuff over the fence? that doesn't look like it'd be hard to do at all--beer even

tiffdud41
02-11-2007, 11:12 PM
or how 'bout using bungee cords to strap an 18 pack to the bottom of one of these?

That's good thinking Tiff.

I'm actually going to wear my vodka in. I'm going to get a pair of those fancy goldfish platform shoes.

I don't think Mr. Fish is gonna like it though.

tiffdud41
02-11-2007, 11:21 PM
you forgot the "pat on the head" :)

mr goldfish shouldn't care too much, since he's plastic anway

but seriously...do you think that stuff would work?

dontfeedthebird

It's so crazy that it just MIGHT!!!

seriously. :|

tiffdud41
02-11-2007, 11:37 PM
no, not the goldfish stuff, the 18 pack under the wagon and the throw the beer over the fence

tiffdud41
02-11-2007, 11:38 PM
besides...what would the heels of platforms amount to? two shots?

dontfeedthebird
02-11-2007, 11:40 PM
I was kidding about the goldfish. Not about wearing them, just about putting vodka in them.

Tossing over the fence is definitely not an option. But your wagon idea is hilarious. *pat pat*

If anyone decides to throw a bottle of jack over the fence, I will be waiting to catch it. And jahjah, can you bring me down a six pack of lapin kulta from Finland. it is unattainable here. I will give you $10 for one even.

Just wait awhile after you get there to check things out... You don't have to carry your booze all at once, leave it in the car for awhile.

Why do people want to sneak in alcohol when there's --easier to sneak in-- wonderful weed and cocaine?

tiffdud41
02-14-2007, 12:18 AM
because some people like to drink more....or they have jobs and can't do the illegal substances

but all this talk of sneaking alcohol really makes me feel like I'm 16 again
