Water-related question that I don't believe is covered in the FAQ:
Can I bring in a couple of water bottle caps? As I remember, when you buy water they keep the cap. So, you can't really stuff it in your backpack and drink it later. I'd like to be able to do that.
Talk about a silly thing to smuggle in, if the answer is No... but then again, all I see is "NO Outside Food & Bev".

I don't know what you're talking about. They will give you the cap.

Maybe I'm confusing the Coachella concession stands with some other show/festival. I've definitely encountered the "sorry we keep the cap" policy a few places. Presumably this is to prevent jackasses from filling the bottles with water, putting the cap back on, and using as a projectile...?
And I coulda sworn Coachella was one of those venues where they have this policy.
but i guess those photos don't lie. i stand corrected. withdrawn.
