I like the heat to be honest...gets me ready for summer time! I'm sick of having to wear long pants (though my legs will be casper this weekend)

I'll say it again ... Portable 10" fans at wal mart for 14 bucks!

Those fans always crap out on me. I've got a big ugly hat and sunblock.

Nice. I almost went for a cowboy hat, but this big floppy straw thing had me the second its unattractive shape caught my eye.

LOL. I bought it because you can crumple it up into a tiny ball and stash it anywhere without it losing its shape. its awesome. :)

don't know if i'm getting a "big, ugly hat" this year, but i had a feeling the temps would be up this year. sun screen application and water a-plenty for me.

I'll be sporting the most cliche Guiness cowboy hat ever and it's going to rule.

Apparently cowboy hats are back in. I've seen them at all the stores lately.

yeah, i wore one of those ranchero cowboy hats found at 99-cent stores last year.
might find another, but more likely to go hatless this year.

Please someone explain to me what you do with your hat once the sun sets and you don't want to wear it anymore, but you also don't want to carry it around because you need both hands free for beer + corn on the cob + rocking out. This is a recurrent problem for me.

big stiff hat like a straw hat or cowboy hat, you just have to wear it.

ballcap or foldable floppy cap military-style beret, stick it in your pack.

also, it's gonna be so damned hot the sun might not even set.

Don't know if it'll block the sun but here is a picture of the hat I'll be wearing.

I'm from phoenix, so the weather will be no problem. It might actually be a degree or two cooler.

Take said hat I don't want to wear anymore and put said hat into said backpack that I have.

Also, I won't exactly be rocking out to alot of these bands. However, I'll be groovin'

UGH.

Why is it we always get screwed? The average temp for Indio during the week of Coachella is listed at 84 degrees. So how come it always creeps up near 100 (or more) when the festival pops up, weird?

I get hats that I can fold up really small, and then I stick it in my backpack, but THIS year I will be sticking it in my locka!!! :)

At least the bottled water companies will make money due to the upcoming high temperatures.
