I can't seem to wrap my head around it...after Dusk It seems like no matter what, I will be missing great bands i'd like to see as I camp out for bjork and whoever else is going to perform before her. Not like it's going to be a bad thing... just mildly disapointing.

If it just goes from the poster. JAMC play at sunset, Interpol after Bjork after that so thats 3 acts but I know you end up missing double that because of the rest of the scheduling at the time...

I was just browsing through some of the names I didn't know, listening to their stuff and had the opposite feeling. I don't think I'll have enough stuff I like on that day.

Bjork (not a huge deal for me)
Arctic Monkeys (seen em)
JMC (not really my thing, but I like em)
Interpol (looking forward to it)
Shadow (should be fun)
Comedians of Comedy (YES!)
Gogol Bordello (weee! pirate music!)
Silversun Pickups (good band, not a big deal)

If I had picked the days/slots, I'd swap about 5 bands from Saturday to Friday. Saturday is so jam packed with my faves that I'm gonna miss a few important ones I'm sure.

PS Listened to the Noisettes just now, and I can't really find a shred of music in the whole thing. No beat, no instruments, no drum machine, no vocals....what the hell is this and what would the purpose of a live show be?

I just listened to em and thought they were pretty good....definitely wanted to listen more.

Where and when will Jarvis play? That's the most important issue of all.

I wouldn't be so sure. Former Pulp members joined him onstage at one of his London concerts and he still didn't play Pulp songs. I'm banking on him being the biggest disappointment of 2007, but that's just me. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad - tickled pink, even - that he's playing. It's about time.

I'd love to see Bjork, but not from a hundred yards away. So if I have to sacrifice a few bands I'd like to see, Bjork's a no-go. =( Right now,

-Jesus and Mary Chain (must see this band)
-Jarvis Cocker (must see)
-Interpol (would like to see but no biggie if missed, live show is a bit dull)
-Sonic Youth (Adore this band, but seen multiple times, still have gard time missing..)

that's the thing 2 or 3 out of the 4 you mentioned will most likely be on before bjork

Friday I like almost every single band except We Are Scientists and I dont know like a handful of them. So I'm just gong to camp out at the main stage all day because I figure I'll like the bands that go on anyways and just pray that Jarvis Cocker is on the mainstage befor JAMC. Like this

Jarvis Cocker---->JAMC--->Interpol---> Bjork

But I figure if Jarvis doesn't go before JAMC I'll get Sonic Youth which is fine, I mean I really really want to see Jarvis, but I can live with Sonic Youth and being front row for JAMC and Bjork.
